fairly deep, afew hundred remain and I'm in top 20. Not really suffered much resistance from table in terms of post flop play, been calling too light pre though (84o on one hand). Check turn or carry on betting? I figure he has 22-99, A6+, K6+, maybe some weak 6's, maybe some air. I check to let him bet his air, small pairs and Kx type hands on river, if he checks I put a bet in for value and expect to be called.. obv get more value from Kx raising turn but I think i have to fold if he check shoves turn (?). One thing from this hand was he took ages to make his move, he hadn't done this before which set off afew alarm bells. I thought it was very odd that he would take so long just to check it when he hadn't even been taking long to bet out before. I also timebanked before checking back. River I can only call imo. His bet was big and I think it looks to valuey to raise, obv not folding or checking turn would've been horrible.

Results in white: villian has 66 for quads

Currently 40th with 82 remaining so still need to gain lots of chips to get to final table. Overshove standard? Not much experience deep so just checking my play is fine, I think this one was.

Maybe b/f turn was best on 1st one. urgh, just feels like I really messed up somewhere but still don't know what's optimal.

Hand 1 looks fine, alternatively on this board texture you can just bet minimum each street.

Hand 2 is fine by me.

AK hand i would bet turn, and call river if he lead, otherwise bet river aswell. very villain dependent tho.

88 hand really depends on how often you think the flatter is calling,

Are you folding turn if raised or shoved on with first hand?

not really, there are so few combos that have us crushed and so many that villain could get stubborn with on this board texture that we crush.

Both hands look pretty standard. Not much you can do differently in the first hand if you're serious about winning. In the second hand it's pretty standard to reshove there, you just got unlucky that the huge stack was a fish who cold called with KQo and got lucky.

Sucks it went this way, but that's poker.
