what is with the 4bb raise, that is going to get you into a ton of trouble. Seriously, I am minraising it preflop.

Im tempted to call because it is bvb and 1$ game but if there is no history between you 2 and this is the first time he has done this, I fold. Depends entirely on what type of player it is.

Wouldn't the BB be even more inclined to go over the top facing a minraise from the SB?

I watched a pro video where he advocated 3.5x, so 4x is only 350 more....so that is what I did.

actually, I would more likely shove over 4bb than 2 because now it becomes more worth it and more reward for the risk. Another issue is that if they are going to fold, they will fold regardless of raise size. same goes with if they were going to raise you thus the smaller bet means less risk with similar reward.
