CO has been very passive playing more than 50% of hands but only raising preflop with 6% of hands. But now he put in a massive 3-bet risking 31BB against an UTG open and 68BB against an UTG+1 call. What kind of range do you think, he is doing this with, and how does AQo perform against that range? If he had stats like 52 / 36, then sure I call this off, but against a 52 / 6 its an easy fold. Being able to make such player specific adjustments is the whole reason, why we have a HUD running.

I put this hand in Equilab, but instead of his 6% range I put a range more like 4% (99+, AQs+, AKo) and against him I have 33.31% equity. Often I see this play in this micro stakes MTT, from players that have middle pairs and don't know how to play post flop.

Exactly. Maybe QQ+ dont often play this way, because those hands are easy to play postflop, and most people will want to get value and not scare away action. But even if we give him a capped range like 88-JJ, AK, AQs, AQo still only has 38% equity, and its not like, you are getting good pot odds or can win a bounty. So unless you have a good reason to think, that this player has changed gears and is now playing like a maniac, then I dont like this call.

I think that I would fold in that situation, I hate it, but I fold 😅. I would consider a call if I saw him going all in with AX before, but I don't think this is the case
