With 13BB its best to either jam over the limp or fold. I would base my decision on, how many hands the limper play, which is a number, I get from my HUD. KTo is somewhat close, so I could go either way here. I would never limp behind, because you simply dont have enough stack to play postflop, and KTo is certainly not strong enough to be a good trapping hand. Postflop should never have happened, so there is no point in analysing it.

That is, the best decision was to fold preflop?

It would certainly not be a mistake folding, but it depends on the tendencies of the limper. The fact, he was the chip leader, is sort of bad, because it mean, he will probably call very wide to try and collect your bounty. And even though KTo will then sometimes be ahead, calls are not, what you want, when you jam that kind of hand. So folding is probably the best option, jamming is slightly worse, and limping behind is by far the worst option.

For me when a spot is this close, my decision might actually depend a little on, what mood I am in. If I am kind of done with the session, I might jam, because I dont want to spend more time hanging around as a short stack. If I just started playing, and I want to continue, then I probably fold.

I would probably just shove over the limper in this spot

building your stack up by 3.5 bb off a 13 bb stack is a nice proposition, and on the few times you get called you'll have plenty of equity in the hand (% chance of winning the all in)

As played, check raising all in on the flop is what I'd more likely do than lead out.

Lots of fun action in this hand :)

It’s very difficult to fold. When I saw such a flop. And the probability that the opponent also has K is very small. Therefore, it was very difficult for me to press fold

I don't like this line play.

Preflop:

You have KTo and one limp. I wouldn't want to play in multipot. And you have 13bb. You must play push / fold. KTo is too weak a hand to play Allin with limp

Postflop:

On flop you have trips, very few hands are stronger than yours and you have low spr, push allin immediately.

P. S. Never play limp when you have 15bb or less

Of course you can not fold on the flop, when you flopped trips and had less than a half pot sized bet left. You even got it in ahead, and then there is really nothing to worry about.

Preflop push in this situation would be a plus action?
