Yes, yes, and yes once more. I'm guessing this is a veiled bad beat complaint since he turned over a hand you have crushed?

I think that your move and his move are correctly. Hero had 70% pre flop to win, so it happens sometimes that you lose. Besides I never fold KK pre flop :) Take care, GL.

Didn't look at results, shove is fine, willing to bet that you lost the hand and are being just a little results-oriented though. :)

Yes i think it is fine to shove here even if he has AA. KK is a monster hand preflop and at this initial stage you want all the chips in the middle preflop. Dont base your decisions on one result only, just keep making the same right decisions.

I would shove with KK here as well, it's possible but certainly not guaranteed that the villain has AA, and you definitely are making a huge mistake by folding if he doesn't.

Even if the villain does have AA, you still have outs, so you won't lose in this situation 100% of the time and I'll bet that the times you win overall against typical opposing hands in this situation will way more than make up for the times you lose. There's only one hand that you're crushed by and you're way ahead of everything else that people would often re-raise with, such as QQ, JJ, AKs, AQs, etc.

I was in nearly this exact situation where a small stack shoved KJo UTG, somebody in MP re-raised with AA, and I shoved KK from the SB. The turn was the very last king in the deck.

You did the right thing, just happens that variance came up and bit you on the ass.
