Pre Flop: (pot: 150.00) Hero has A:heart: A:diamond:

fold, fold, UTG+2 raises to 228.00, fold, Hero ???

The problem is the weird raise + the standard raise size kind of commits me to any pot I see. Should I just shove here?

Since it's a 25-cent tourney I wouldn't worry too much either way. A thinking player might realize that a 3-bet smaller than AI is ridiculously scary but if you make it $528 he'll probably find it irresistible to call and see a flop. Actually I'd make it something weird like $517.

Alternatively you could just shove which would be my default in slightly higher BI tourneys.

I just raise to 555 since people love seeing flops OOP and he jams top of his range anyway. Plus some retards behind you can call as well.

As baudib says my default is just to jam but idc about how ridic unbalanced I'll be at this BI since nobody can exploit you.

Given the majority of the players at this level HATE to fold once they've put chips in the pot, I'd pull a go-n-go here. Take it to about 700 and ship any flop. If the flop doesn't have an Ace or King on it, even better. Alot of players will think you missed the flop and are just trying to take down the pot with your big flop bet.

Ye i think 3 betting is much better here. It also allows people behind to go crazy and the initial raiser is going to shove or call as at this level they cant really find the fold button, especially pre
