I follow this guy on YT for a few years already (himself a big enthusiast of the sport), and according to him there is a world of difference between 'proper Slapping' and whatever harmful, self-mutilating garbage this White character is promoting:

I actually enjoy it so much, and I remember doing it when I were at school, and after practicing it the class was a mess, and we're going to sit at the director/supervisor desk. Did you observe the athletes bodies? Just the summersault is a sport by itself don't You think?

It's absolutely insane it is sanctioned by the Nevada State Athletic Commission.

Slapping someone as hard as you can, but they cannot defend your slap.

What is the point of this "sport"?

I second this. Dangerous and stupid. Ive recently hot into the history of arm wresyling it really has some characters in it. Hghly reccomend

I found out about this sport slap fighting a few years ago on YouTube. It took place in russia.

Now as far as I know Dana White is trying to make a sport/business out of it in United States too.
