Have huds and colluding ruined online poker?

I feel as if poker should be about using your brain not looking at numbers through a computer program that basically does all the work for you. Not to mention the colluders too now. My all in equity money won should be so much higher but because there are colluders on multiple accounts on certain sites.... They can see that they sometimes have your outs and call things normal players wouldn't.... It's so sad what online poker has become

I am not sure the state of colluding in online cash games but my understanding most of the top sites are busy enough to make it rather difficult. As to huds just seeing the numbers does not insure the player makes the best plays. You still need to understand the numbers and make the right decisions.

A HUD is almost mandatory for online play these days. They are great tools to help you fix leaks in your game, and they help with keeping track of other players and their tendencies. You can recognize people's faces when you play live, but online it would be easy to forget a hand you have played with someone without the HUD, unless you have played many hands with the person

HUDs need to be set up just right for the precise situation. You need to have a large sample size and you need to be able to pay attention to and interpret everything that the HUD is telling you in addition to what you're actually seeing. Where's the fun in that?

pokerstars has a team that designs bots to help them see patterns that appear on bot playstyles that humans would have some inconsistency in.
PS: the superior cardroom.

You're just making this up, right?
I'm sure they take measures to prevent bots, but designing their own bots would be an inefficient way to accomplish this. Do you have a source?

How do you know this?
They are superior to humans in that they never ever take a passionate risk and always perfectly can instantaneously combine your HUD stats with card stats to see the likelihood of your represented strength vs the physical likelihood of card victory but they are therefore inferior to humans in taking passionate risks and in coping against players who involve high degree of grey area in what their bets and sizes of bets mean in relation to hand strength.

Interesting article. Apparently, it was written after the UB scandal (2007 ?) and before today. It's believable but weakly so. It has no date, cites no sources, credits no author and otherwise has all the hallmarks of a "cut and paste" story or fake news. I could just as soon believe in the "pizza parlour arrangement" as this story (if, of course, I was an idiot).
Want proof PokerStars fights bots much harder than the rest?

Thank you. Much better articles. One reason they are much better: I can pick at them a little.

The first one is from Jan 2016. It describes a letter sent from PokerStars to players asking for video verification that they (the individual players) were human. This process has existed for some time. An American named Khan, I believe, was featured on the ESPN broadcast of the wsop Main Event in the first year that he went deep (late 2000's ?). His "get to know the player" segment featured the video that he had to send to Stars or Tilt.

The second, from 2015, kinda makes HUD's sound illegal? No?

Back in 2015 you could record games you weren't playing in. You'd have thousands of hands info on players you merely watched by opening many tables at once. In MTT this made it very pointless the random moving of players that they do to even out the player pool and info you have on a player by the end.

So instead of outlawing HUDs, in 2016 PS outlawed the recording of tables you don't play at on any HUD.

Read your link. PokerStars caught some bots. Good.

Your claim was:
"PokerStars has a team that designs bots"

Nothing in that article supports your claim. It's a complete fabrication.
You can think that then

You have a theory. No evidence. Shocking.

No this is the fact of the bot player.this is why severely disciplined TAG style can get account locked as they're mistaken for bots

I can think that a claim made by someone who is perpetually making untrue assertions, which is unlikely on its face, and for which there is no evidence, is untrue?

Cool. I was so worried I wasn't going to get your permission.

You have no evidence, you are just declaring it to be a fact.

It takes a lot more than just having a TAG style to get your account locked. Or do you have evidence for that claim?

:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

Just kidding about that question. Of course you don't.

Normally in MTTs players move tables to keep the number of players at each table as even as possible.
If PS is moving players around to reduce the info you have on a player by the end, that's the first time I've heard of any site doing this. Any source for this claim?

Do you know something can have more than one purpose, the second purpose not making the first purpose untrue?

I understand that things can have more than one purpose. Is there any adult not suffering from an intellectual disability who doesn't understand that?

I also understand that you have no evidence for your assertion that PS is moving players around to reduce the info you have on a player by the end.

Just making things up as usual.
