We are very excited to announce that CardsChat now has a hand converter and a replayer for you to use for your hand reviews! You will now be able to more easily review and discuss your hands in the forum.

CardsChat Hand Converter and Replayer

For your convenience you can find it on the navigation bar here:

89dd3c949ac6d92edb8aecc24d313bc2.png

How does it work? All you need is a hand history - the converter and replayer will do all of the work for you!

The converter will allow you to paste a hand history and it will convert it to forum code, plain text or allow you to view it in the replayer.

Forum Code:

You will select this option when you want to post a hand for discussion in the Tournament Hand Analysis or the Cash Game Hand Analysis forums. It will take your hand history and convert it to a much easier to read format.

Plain Text:

This is the same as above - just not as sexy.

Replayer:

The replayer replays your hand in video format. This is an amazing way for you and other members/friends view your hand - whether it is in the forum, in Social Media or anywhere else online.

*You will also get a link to the replayer for you hand when you use the Forum Code or Plain Text options.

Which sites will it support?

You will be able to enter hand histories from almost all of your favorite sites including pokerstars, 888Poker, partypoker, and many more. You can find a full list of sites in the FAQ's found on the hand converter page.

If you have any issues with using the converter you can ask them here:

Official Pokeit & CardsChat Hand Converter Support Thread

Let us know what you think of the converter and replayer here in this thread!

Perfect! This is the same type of hand converter/replayer that I used in some of my latest posts (e.g., here). It was the best one I could find, and I am glad that it's now part of CardsChat.

The only things I miss in this converter are the hand number and the date, which I manually included in the post above. I guess they aren't included, because they are considered noise by most players. Well, at least the replayer has them. They aren't lost.

Another difference is the lack of links to the propokertools simulations in the equity summary, but that's not a biggie.

So, what's the proper way to access the hand converter from the forum? Any shortcuts/QuickLinks?

Looks sleek. My question is, how do you get a hand history? Is there a tool or something that will give it to you?

It varies by site - you need to request them. We are working on putting something together that will instruct you how to do it for each site but meanwhile take a look at the site you play at the most and you can probably find it. :)

This is a really cool tool. I definitely could use something like this to analyze my play and improve which is critical.

Worked flawlessly with my Pokerstars hand data. I like that the converter & the replayer show my position at the table (eg., UTG). A hand converter is something that I've always wanted to see for Cardschat. Maybe it's just me (maybe not) but I've always had issues using other hand converters in my posts at Cardschat.

PokerStars, Hold'em No Limit - 15/30 - 8 players
Replay this hand on CardsChat

MattRyder (UTG): 1,500 (50 bb)
kopyc777 (UTG+1): 1,310 (44 bb)
thebestgf (MP): 1,740 (58 bb)
laimetojas15 (MP+1): 2,740 (91 bb)
mirr64 (CO): 1,350 (45 bb)
Muxa010 (BU): 2,740 (91 bb)
sany256 (SB): 680 (23 bb)
kqatana (BB): 1,470 (49 bb)

Pre-Flop: (45) Hero (MattRyder) is UTG with K J
MattRyder (UTG) raises to 90, kopyc777 (UTG+1) calls 90, 3 players fold, Muxa010 (BU) calls 90, sany256 (SB) calls 75, 1 fold

Flop: (390) A 5 A (4 players)
sany256 (SB) checks, MattRyder (UTG) checks, kopyc777 (UTG+1) checks, Muxa010 (BU) checks

Turn: (390) Q (4 players)
sany256 (SB) checks, MattRyder (UTG) bets 195, kopyc777 (UTG+1) folds, Muxa010 (BU) calls 195, sany256 (SB) folds

River: (780) 9 (2 players)
MattRyder (UTG) bets 780, Muxa010 (BU) folds

Total pot: 780
MattRyder (UTG) wins 780

I test it , it works excellent with single hand mode.

Quick question.

Is there a function to convert multi- hands in a row?
eg last five hands in a SitNgo or MTT?

if yes, what is the max multi hands conversion does CC converter support?

thanks.

Great innovation! I was having some difficulty posting hands for review in a consistent format so this is well appreciated here

You can only convert 1 hand at a time. :)

That's incorrect. Even the hand converter itself suggests to "Use a blank line to separate multiple hands". I just pasted 30 hands at once, and all of them were converted. They end up separated by :diamond: :club:  :spade: on a new line. All hands couldn't be included in a single post, of course, because of this:
The following errors occurred with your submission:
  1. The text that you have entered is too long (29754 characters). Please shorten it to 23000 characters long.
I could fit only about 20 of these 30. Even more could fit in a single post, if they are in plain text.

Did you mean that you couldn't fit several hands at once in a single replay? This seems to be impossible at the moment, since each hand has a separate replay link, even when converted for the replayer exclusively. It would be cool if the replays could be linked inside the replayer, so you could jump from hand to hand seamlessly, without opening new tabs.
