Hi all,

Apologies if this is a repeat topic on here however I am at my wits end! I would've thought these sites would exist in abundance out there!

Where can I find a site that will allow myself and my mates to play online privately? Trying to set this up as we can no longer get 8 of us in a little room for a game and some beers so looking to take it online.

Any assistance greatly appreciated!

Hello there! PokerStars actually allows you to set up private tournaments to play with whoever you want.

These are found in the Home Games section (pic related).

Thanks guys, my little brother tried setting it up though we are restricted access as we are in Australia.

Are you saying you can play for play money too?

The only site i know who offers this, is Pokerstars I think. Download the client and check out Home Games. You can set up a room for you and your friends there and create Tournaments, Cash Game etc....Just invite your friends via ID and password and lets go!

unibet also allow you to play "Private Tourney", you should go on Unibet site, then visit Community and there make a topic how you want your game to look.
That includes name of tour, list of players names, buying, type of tourney (freezout etc) and the minimum number for players is 6.
Also minimum buy in is 1euro. You must right that in topic and approval is for 24-48 hour, after you and your friends will be able to see in the lobby.

This is pretty cool of you guys but I don't understand the restricted buy-in part? I mean I understand it from a business end on y'alls end as far as not doing it for free but I don't understand why you would limit it to $1.65. Less money for you guys and if someone is used to lets say a weekly home game with their buds for $25, $50, $100 they may take their business elsewhere if someone else will let them do it for more. Just thinking out loud though on my end.

Pretty sure you can set up home games on Pokerstars. Bottom right on the client homepage.
