re: Poker & Why are there different poker clients for different countries?
Good morning everyone.
I believe that it has to do with the collection of taxes, pokerstars-eu, cannot operate in Spain, France and Portugal, because of that they made pokerstars-es, which has an agreement to pay taxes for these 3 countries.
If you go to the pokerstars lobby and look for Mtts of more than $ 500 in entry and that will start the next day, you will notice that there are a large number of players from Greece, in some cases all are from Greece, that poker players from that country have to pay tax on what you earned at the end of the day, if you have $ 1,000 in your account at the end of the day, you have to pay tax of that amount, what they do is register in Mtts that will start in 1 or 2 days and at the end of the day the account is out of balance and you don't need to pay anything, on Mtt's day just go to Mtt's lobby and cancel the registration.
