Why are there different poker clients for different countries?

Some countries have separate poker clients or separate poker sites only for players from that country. Usually in such cases, players from other countries are not allowed to enter.

What do you think in connection with this? Is this due to the excessive emotionality of the players of those countries in which poker reservations are created or something else? Or is it only financial security for the money of citizens of such countries not to flow to other countries?

This is mainly due to the varying legal restrictions on online poker among various countries.

For example, USA players have not had access to the main international pokerstars player pool since Black Friday and PS has had to pull out of Australia more recently. PS can be played for real money in New Jersey but the player pool is limited to people within New Jersey only.

I think it is due to ignorance. From what I have read I can say that it is the case of Spain, they can only play with players from their country, france and portugal. The reason is unknown, because even in these countries players must pay taxes

It's all about the legislation of that country and the taxes they charge.

As previously stated, mostly due to different legislation in different places.

Localised servers also might be a lesser factor.

This is related to the fact that poker has different agents in different parts of the world. Each agent will govern its own surrounding countries. This is also because each country has different legal restrictions on online poker.

In different countries, different laws, respectively, different licenses for gambling and poker rooms, in order to expand the playing field, make different concessions.

Good morning everyone.
I believe that it has to do with the collection of taxes, pokerstars-eu, cannot operate in Spain, France and Portugal, because of that they made pokerstars-es, which has an agreement to pay taxes for these 3 countries.
If you go to the pokerstars lobby and look for Mtts of more than $ 500 in entry and that will start the next day, you will notice that there are a large number of players from Greece, in some cases all are from Greece, that poker players from that country have to pay tax on what you earned at the end of the day, if you have $ 1,000 in your account at the end of the day, you have to pay tax of that amount, what they do is register in Mtts that will start in 1 or 2 days and at the end of the day the account is out of balance and you don't need to pay anything, on Mtt's day just go to Mtt's lobby and cancel the registration.

On-line Poker is different in many part's or the World simply because of the Legislation of different Countries, and the Tax laws.
But isn't that the same with everything on this stupid Planet, You only have to go to the USA to see different laws in different States even though it is supposed to be the land of the Free! there are some things you can do in some States that would find you arrested in other's, Because of State Legislation, and bureaucratic red tape.
No offence to our American Allies but you cannot deny facts. You all know which States allow gambling and others that forbid it. That is why Vegas came into being, in the first place. Medicinal Cannabis is another example, Some States allow it, while others will put you in prison for using it.
You can please some of the people All of the time, and All of the people some of the time, But never All of the people All of the time, IMPOSSIBLE!

When the fun Stops, STOP!

Depends on the fact that different countries have different laws and can interpret the concept of gambling in their own way. For example, it is a well-known fact that American players cannot play at pokerstars now.

Poker sites are like casinos, my friend. No country would hesitate to take advantage of them if given the opportunity. Once approved by the state and poker site, a link is created between industry professionals for the state and site to monitor the site and its earnings.
My friend, the municipality interest in Morocco gets about 70% of the profits of each casino separately?

To be honest, I don't quite understand that. But I think everyone thinks about their own benefits.

It's all because of legislation and tax issues, governments want to control this stuff.

It's mainly about two things. Gaming Restriction Legislation and Tax Law. Contrary to natural law, positive legislation adheres to the territory, if a certain country imposes a restriction on the operation of real money games such as poker, sports betting and casinos, the site must respect these impositions. In the US, where the Federal Constitution is more decentralized in relation to federations, this allows federative entities to have greater freedom to deliberate in their local constitutions, for this reason that some entities have the death penalty and others do not, you can go to prison 12 years of age in one state and 16 in the other among others, and this also includes restrictions on poker sites. All this normative issue prevents the full performance of websites anywhere in the world.
