I just noticed this player in the $10k $20M Gtd. on partypoker tonight... they also took down the $5.2k $1million gtd. tonight for $203k & sitting in 24th or 28 left in the $20M tourney.

So I looked them up. They've only played 7 tournaments since Partypoker had the screename change this summer. And of those 7 games they took 2nd in Powerfest SHR ($25k buyin) for $378k, and a 2nd in the Millions Online SHR ($25k buyin) for $340k
They are $1.1 million in profit so far... in just 7 games, lol.

That is siiiiiick!

PartyPoker could tell you, but then they'd have to kill you. This site is anonymous, they wouldn't want you exploiting this player by knowing who he/she is! :deal:

Not me that's for sure, I knew you could change names there, was there a complete name change for all players in Summer, as I lost access to Stars, 888, PP, I don't keep up with news on sites I can't play on.

He's either on a massive heater or he can see the patterns. ;) unreal cashes in such a short amount of games, would be interesting to find out who it is.

Well good for him/her I guess. Its always nice to run hot in tournaments over a small sample, and of course even more so, when its high rollers like these :)

They had a one-time screename change where everyone on the site had to enter a new sn. Then ~1week later, they had to do it again (the second one was due to some glitch).

Many of the entrants in that $10k buyin ($20M gtd.) weren't regular players on Partypoker as lots of them had only played a very small number of games... (some with just a couple games played)
It obviously drew out many HS cashgame players as well as other highstakes players that don't necessarily play much online.
I thought it'd be interesting to hear who some of them are... & if anyone on CC knew. (the chat knew who frenchsniperrr was.. long before the final table). Because the sn's are fairly new on PP, there's still a large number of HS regs. who remain anonymous on the site & apparently many aren't revealing their identities... but for many others it's not difficult to find out who they are irl.

Personally I think it adds a lot to it when you know who the players are. Years ago on FTP, many would know who they were & if not, you'd likely see it in the observer chat during big tourneys. I recall seeing Jason Koon on the final table in one tourney (FTP's $1k Monday) but not knowing who he was from his sn... but hearing the observer chat suggesting it was Brynn Kenney.. but then others chimed in suggesting it was Jason Koon. I think today's online tournament poker is missing that element.

Wouldn't it have been cool to hear it was Tom Dwan? (or a large number of other players). I think it would be.

I think, an argument could even be made for getting rid of anonymity altogether in high stakes online games to create more transparety.

Anonymity has advantages. For example, Guy Laliberte dumped millions online in high stakes cash games using several different screen names. This was because the table would fill up as soon as Guy sat down and break up once he finished. Allowing him to have enough privacy to feel comfortable to continue playing benefited everyone, including Guy.

Anonymity is a good thing. But the legend will be destroyed sooner or later.

So much profit from just 7 tournaments is truly unthinkable. I'm shocked.

How does a simple question asking anyone if they have info. on who the player Triple Sexy on PP is lead to anything to do with rigged?
Pathetic.

Unfortunately I'm just a micro fish :(
And you'd buy the missus and I first class airline tickets and put us up for a couple of weeks if you did, and there's no plane tickets in the mail yet. :bawling:

But hey!
Couple of years ago I saw the same person winning 2 main tourneys at ipoker on Sunday. Two 1st places in one day. Checked his stats = new player.

I also saw the same person winning 1 main tourney and ending up at the final table in the second one at 888.

I wasn't and still isn't sure about what's going on, but one day, I've met such player at the final table and he was the reason why I've finished 3rd. It was at the pokerstars b.t.w. and I've observed 12 remaining tables in that tourney until 9 players left... and made notes on all players, specially chipleaders. That guy won every hand with any garbage he had.

http://www.playerscope.com/valerio1169/pokerstars#pager

You can sort by ALL DATA, and ENDED, this will give you a list of the games he played, earliest to latest, at the second page you will clearly see that it was the 1st tournament he ever played at the PokerStars.

Not sure why, but PS sent me a video about this game, 3 hands that I've played... you can clearly see nicknames of all of my opponents in first 2 hands, but last hand - when this valerio1169 busted me with AJ vs my AQ - for some reason PS team decided to not include his nickname in the video.

Some more games in 2018 and "poker career" of this valerio1169 has ended... Interesting.

I can't say that online poker is not profitable, can't say that you can't win at online poker... yes you can, i did that for years, still doing it in freerolls, my older brother keeps playing and winning. But both him and me in the past, we play like dealers, generating more rake than our profit was.

Is it true that some players use bots and forbidden software? yes it is, it was revealed many times.
Can online casino owners do the same? I'm sure that they can. Will they do this? I'm not sure, can't say for sure, maybe they're honest people, like communists. After all, capitalism is a system that is based on greed, and some people might ignore the option to get more profit, and I'm sure that casino owners are those saint people. That's why I'm not playing poker anymore like I used to.

SO, as your song sings...

Online poker is not rigged.
Rigged-Digged,
Rigi-digi-digi-digged,
Arampam-pam!
