When did PokerStars update?

So I haven't been playing for a while because of health issues and a few days ago I logged in and suddenly when playing on the table I noticed that they updated something.
Firstly, I couldn't normally set up table theme for all kinds of tables and I noticed that a lot of card's deck have been removed, I'm still struggling to set it up, it's just not working, I tried reinstalling.
Secondly, I noticed a very sharp fps drop and performance deterioration.
Is there any way I can return old version of pokerstars?) Thanks

yes this is due to their new Aurora engine
this update
You can delete it, configure it in the settings and return everything back
settings - table graphics - Uncheck

Go in to settings then table appearance,
Then graphics to change good luck.

You can also go into your install directory and copy everything in the back up folder and replace it with the contents of the main folder, then as long as you launch from the ://programfiles/pokerstars.exe it will be the old version but will prompt for update as soon as you try to launch from desktop

They also update every time I skip playing for more than 3 days. Usually they do this to change the list of players they have targeted to lose, if they didn't do this on a regular basis obviously people would figure out online poker is rigged & stop playing. :laugh:

pitifully not because if you install an earlier version when you re-enter you will be asked to update the program to be able to enter and if you are extremely downloading pokertar from what it was years ago

you just have to remember to launch from the backup on your install file folder everytime if you dont want to update.

I deeply apologize since I live in canada we also do not have banks I have to travel 2420km round trip by moose sled across the border into the states and last time I went by the time I got home my igloo was being lived in by penguins. They crapped over everything it was a complete disaster. So I pretty much just stick to trading fish now. If you want to send me your address I can ship some on the next boat out come spring

Better yet, install the StarsCaption add-on.
