Why are so many games in this poker room built on a game from ticket to ticket? because this is a series of games in which the chance to lose is very high! Why don’t they give prizes in regular currency, and the player himself will choose the right time, type of poker and type of game? I am very interested to hear your frank opinion on this issue.

But not all tournaments are such. There are regular tournaments with prize money. Nobody forces you to play for tickets.

I think party poker satty's are paid in 'tournament dollars' now, so you can use them for anything...is that correct?

Party poker has banned hud's but lots of other sites allow them...ie..pokerstars..

Last time i was playing there they had plenty of regular tournaments....
The chances of losing in these series isn't higher than in any other game...
The chances of losing are set when the buy-in is set. If you want to win
a $10.000 wsop package but you only want to spend a dollar then your chances of winning are about 1 in 10.000. Doesn't really matter if you play 1 tourny against 10K opponents or if you break it down to a series of sattelites. The advantage of step sattelites is that each step in itself doesn't take as long as one giant tourney with 10K people and mmost recreational players will rather play 3 hours on 3 occasions than 7 hours in a row.

If you don't like satelites then just set a filter in your Party Poker software and let it display tournaments with cash prizes only.
