Try to play at the stakes you allow and feel comfortable. It's nice that we have events starting from the smallest stakes. Personally I would recommend you to play some tournaments with Progressive KO. Even if you don't get to do ITM for everyone you play, you may make some $$$ eliminating some players along the way and recover some money you spent on buy-ins.
