I'm delighted to announce that starting October 24th, we'll be launching a completely new MTT schedule. With the exception of the Supermoon and Unibet Live qualifier trees it's be redesigned from top to bottom to try and give players more of what they want based on feedback we've received over the last few years and general population shifts.
- Peak Euro time (17:00 23:00) schedule has had it's total GTD almost doubled.
- New range of "Majors" with bigger GTDs and dedicated qualifier tree. When you win a €10 major ticket, you can either use it in a €10 major or in a €10 - qualifier to a €50 or €100 major. You're not locked to a specific tournament, even if the qualifier sounds like it is.
-
Nightly €10,000 GTD €50 buy-in PKO starting at 19:05 CEST. We expect this one to have lots of value as we've never ran a GTD like this outside of series.
- Weekly €10,000 GTD €100 buy-in PKO on Sundays when the Supermoon doesn't run.
- Majors structured so they should be finished before or around 1am CEST so casual players can play without worrying about getting up for work in the morning.
- Rake changes to match the lowest in the regulated industry, based on level up time and format, rather than buy-in type as it is now. Rake column below is what's coming out of the buy-in, so €10 (€9.20 + €0.80) rather than €10+€0.80
- Simplified structures and naming for non-major tournaments. Majors have names that (hopefully) are descriptive enough that you know what you're going to get. The PKOs all have fighting themed names for example.
- Shift in buy-in types to reduce R/A and shift in ratio of PKO vs Non-PKO from current schedule.
-
€100,000 in Leaderboards over the next 10 weeks, two tiers and a winner takes all overall LB
Feedback is going to be really important on this one and we're going to try and be as fluid as possible with changes that make sense post-launch. A lot of the focus has going into the peak Euro times so there is likely to be things in the off-peak schedule that need tweaked. There is also a general reduction in the number of tournaments but that does not mean we can't add additional tournaments in future and hopefully, if the schedule is a success and we see field sizes grow, that's exactly what we'd want to do.
Qualifiers for the Title Fight begin tonight with both flip and regular qualifiers and the regular qualifiers have a new level time structure we're testing. If you play them, let me know what you think.
