Poker is leaving Germany

Hi everyone,

Unfortunately, we will be unable to offer poker for German players from the 21th of September 2021 from 04:00 CEST. German players will not be able to register for Unibet Open qualifiers with immediate effect and we recommend unregistering any other tournaments that are due to start after the 21th of September 2021 at 04:00 CEST.

Tournament tickets, bonus points and playthrough bonuses will be converted within 48 hours after the 21th of September 2021 as follows:

- Tournament tickets (HexaPro/MTT): Any active tickets will be converted to cash. If you have Unibet Open tickets that will expire before the 20th please post in the thread and we will extend them so they will be included in the conversion.

- Bonus Points: Any remaining bonus points will be converted to cash at a rate of 1c for every 1 bonus point.

- Playthrough Bonuses - Playthrough bonuses (excluding first deposit bonuses) will be converted to cash.

We apologize for any inconvenience caused and invite you to play any of our other great products!

Not happy, but it was a logical step after you excluded German players from all promotions and freerolls. I figured that out, that freerolls are still allowed, but the tax problem now seems to make it an uninteresting market for you. I hope other rooms won`t follow...

hi Andy - just two ideas.

1) Auto logging out happens way too quickly - seems like 15 minutes or so? Just irritating, especially as your password needs to be input every time could they make it an hour like most sites.

2) They really need some better standard micro MTTs at peak europe times - so around BST 19H00 - something like a std 9 max slow no addon $1 with $300 gtd or $2/ $500 GTD

1. I believe it is at least 30 minutes but we've been having some site issues recently that might be logging you out earlier than expected. There may also be some regulatory reasons, depending on where you live, that mean we're required to log out after a shorter period of time.

2. I'll mention it to the tournament manager. I don't think we could get 300 players in a €1 freezeout to be honest and I don't think a slow structure is going to be massively appealing to that stake either but I think we should be more open to trialing and testing things.

I'm planning to play it in the near future, looks good. Do they go after bounties aggressively there?

Just re-checking the rooms, where and what can be worthy to play, where are good sats for the higher levels. Do you know, play similar ones? With good sats, and still not the 500-1K+ bucks entry costs, and not thousands of regs on them??? (preferably 9max)

Which countries we can offer poker in is decided on a company level rather than anything the poker team specifically decides.

The freerolls will not be returning in their previous forms. We're looking into ways to better reward Cardschat members going forward.

We'll be implementing the following changes to the Unibet Open qualifier tree on Dec 13th:

• Single Unibet Open qualifying tree of 40c -> €2 -> €10 -> €50 -> €250 -> €1,100
• Tickets for all steps added to Bonus Shop (This will be done before 13th Dec for all stakes except 40c)
• New Exchanger for €2 -> 40c added and obsolete exchangers removed
• For customers with active €1 tickets, for every 2x €1 in their account, 1x €2 ticket will be credited. If the customer has an odd number of €1 tickets, we'll give a €2 ticket. Example: Customer has 7x €1 tickets. They're be credited 4x €2 tickets.
• For customers with active €4 tickets, these will be converted into 2x €2 tickets. If the customer has 5x €4 tickets we will convert into 2x €10 on request.
• For customers with active €25 tickets, for every 2x €25 in their account, 1x €50 ticket will be credited. If the customer has an odd number of €25 tickets, we'll give 3x €10 tickets. Example: Customer has 3x €25 tickets. They'll be credited 1x €50 and 3x €10.
• Payouts for freerolls/centrolls will be updated to reflect the single tree

Is there any way for a player from canada to download (and use) the mobile App? I have not tried this for a while, but the times I tried, it was an exercise in frustration. I couldn't find the app in the Google App Store. I followed a bunch of links on the UB website that seemed to say it was possible, but it never worked.

EDIT: Never mind. I tried to DL it again and it worked. My recommendation would be DO NOT follow the explicit instructions - just tap "Install".

I was registered and verified long time ago, before you guys stopped those freerolls for us in Germany.
Then I spoke to your cust rep and they told me that only option right now is to use my Bank, which I do not want to provide info and will not connect my bank to your app.
What other possibilities is available for us in Germany?
And, if we can play any type of games on UB app, I mean any poker games and freerolls included or not?

I love playing on the phone app but sometimes when I tilt the screen the table view get's distorted and I have to restart the app for things to get normal again.

It's not that much of a problem honestly except it gets a bit annoying sometimes.
Currently playing on a Samsung galaxy S9+ if that helps.

If you need a screenshot I will happily get one when it occurs again.

We have had some reports of issues when swapping between orientations while playing. A root cause has not been found yet so my only real suggestion would be to lock the orientation on your phone before playing to stop the app trying to switch between portrait and landscape. For Android it's normally in the quick settings menu so it's easy to enable/disable.

I've got a quick question about the March mission. It says 'Be Dealt "2-7" as pockets cards in Hexapro. What does this mean in actual fact. I've played quite a few games and must have been dealt each of these numbers individually by now?

Or do I have to be dealt them all in 1 game? Or is it each number in each suit? It would be good to have a guide so you can tell how close you are to completing this.

Its not overly clear as 'mission'
