This is a crooked and rigged casino. I have a severe gambling addiction and it is reported and I am blacklisted. I signed up for their site and tried to use credit card but because I requested blacklisted due to addiction it denied me. That killed the urge until this unscrupulous company contacted me and encouraged me to get bitcoin account and deposit. Of course my disease won and i proceeded to deposit all the money i had in one night, even win I won i would keep playing. I wrote to them when the wake up of not being able to spend anymore money hit me and they were basically like tough. They prey on problem gamblers. They purposely baited me in knowing I asked to be blacklisted because I have a severe disease. Please play elsewhere. If they would do this to me what would they do to other players- cheat....
I’m sympathetic to your situation, truly. I went through some tough times after my father literally lost the house in a
poker game. He came home and said to the family; pack a few things, we don’t live here anymore. But I didn’t blame the guy who hosted the game, or the dealer that dealt the cards, or the bank that let him withdraw the money, or Mr. Hoyle for inventing playing cards, ect. I blamed my dad. Addicts need help to cope with their addiction, whatever form it takes.
Informing ACR that you want to be on their exclusion list is evidence that you want to control your addiction. And bravo for taking steps. But in the end, they’re a cardroom that’s based in another country, who makes money by charging a fee for putting players together and ‘dealing’ cards.
I don’t blame them for soliciting business any more than I blame McDonalds for obesity because they make tasty burgers.
It’s also possible the solicitation had nothing to do with ACR. It could have been an affiliate or advertising algorithm that thought you would be interested in a promotion based on your search history. (I imagine you had to ‘look up’ the contact information for ACR or things similar to CardsChat.com).
Your post was probably frustration at yourself turned outward. Use this experience to motivate furthering your quest for help. Please.
Best wishes.
