Been playing some freerolls lately that I have done pretty well in. 1st in one with over 500 people. It's frustrating sometimes but I do my best to learn as I mess up. Good Luck everyone

I have just checked my history for the lat year's SCOOP, and find this not bad result through a satty:

Beside the above one, I played also one of the main events, with 109$ entry, but I was backed for it and did not finished well

Well, this year's SCOOP is only two days away and with $85,000,000 guaranteed already (an amount that will no doubt be smashed given the huge numbers playing online poker during the pandemic), it's not an event you can afford to miss. Buy ins for each tournament at three different levels, High, Mid and Low.

Just registered for ten tournaments over the first four days and have cleared my schedule for the three weeks.

Are you playing? If so, why not use this thread as a general place for us to update the forum on how we are doing.

Thoughts on where it’s best spent (NLHE 6max player mostly but play full ring tourneys)

Debating direct entry to a low stakes be satellite / phase 1 to a mid or high stakes

Good luck at tables let's see if we can get a final table or two. Let's see if we can continue the good work by one of the forum members did by final tabling the big Storm game this weekend.

I normally do these kind of threads in past but it ends up not drawing much interest from anyone else so I hope this one pans out and has lots of people posting.

The SCOOP games are outside my normal playing bankroll limit but I make an exception for them.

Already regged for 2L trying hard to make into 3L without buying in. Will probably play 4L, 5L and 7L as well.

Why not play Event 2 (Low)?

Yeah I'm weighing it up. Don't have much experience in knockouts but probably gives a good chance of making some cash returns from bounties meaning a deep run isn't necessarily needed (albeit clearly the target).

Do you have any decent tips for approach / strategy for PKOs?

UL - just crashed out of the 2L. Picked up a couple of bounties for $10 (and got in via a freeroll) so can't complain but a little frustrated as was cruising along until AKs (flopped 2 pair) vs 55 got beat when they hit a set on the river to halve my stack. Then went below 10M so shoved KQs with flush draw on the flop but deep stack at the table had flopped a set and my draw didn't complete.

Got another freeroll ticket for a SCOOP 2nd chance so will see what I can turn that into.

Hoping Ben can run deep at least!

I will try to play any $5.50 + $11 tourney over the next 14 days.

Well, I started badly, tailed off in the middle and the less said about the end, the better.*

But today is a new day and thankfully, I went on the cash tables afterwards and blasted my way to winning four times the amount I had blown on tournament buy ins.

I was so unlucky, cause I have already made 3 qualificatons. First, about 11.000 I made it into 107 if I remember right, got a 22$ ticket, tried phrase. At the level of 11. (of 15) I ran into Aces. Out of 490 I made it the first 17 by 1.1$, even with a KO I would had got 5$ but I failed. And the 3rd one (made from 6/2) I had the highest pair on flop but turned out that another A-A was washed me out.
Do not give up, sooner or later results will come, If you are calmy enough to wait. My problem is that these tournaments cost a lot, but if we could find proper satellites we can make big profits easily. Good luck everyone.

i shall play two $11 events (#12 & #46) yikes - much higher than usual play

so far i play 3 things ($2.20 value) with a ticket - destroyed & defeated in each :vollkomme
seems zillions of players involved
