Heyy everyone. So I wanted to get more serious about poker but not use real money. So I found this site called Replay Poker. I was wondering if anyone knows of this site or uses it and tell me what you think of it? Or a better site that's play money where you can practice poker. ?

People play notoriously loose on play money sites. So, while you'll get a LOT of practice recognizing "possible hand combinations", you won't see a lot of "real poker".

I play every day on NLOP. It's also free, but you can win real cash and prizes. (Ads fund the prize pool.)

It's best to get "invited" there. You get a few extra tokens to play with. Not NEARLY as many perks as you got a couple weeks ago, but still not a bad way to go. Let me know if you have questions about it.

PS It's also pretty loose, but the more that's on the line, the better poker that's played. Much better than the total social poker I played on before.

Um I'm under 19 so that's not the best idea for me XD. Also I know it isn't legit but it is better than nothing at all so its worth a shot. And thanks for the suggestion

I would say pokerstars' playmoney table.
thing about that, first you need to at least beat the lowest level right?
so if you don't beat general pokerstars' playmoney , how would you say you beat the real money.
why not get a try there, the problem is pokerstars' playmoney at least have enough traffic for you to find a table.

Alright. Thanks 😺
no problem
a little tip

make sure keep your hand history, using the pokerstar real money clients - you can still keep the playmoney hand history.

and review it later , if you thing this or that is right or wrong :D

BTW: I think most of the real money site min requirements are 18 years old, anyway. GL.

I asked a friend and he told me they only had tournaments. Is that true?

No. Not accurate. Only tourneys if you want to win money or real prizes. But there are ring games if you just want to practice.

There are also short tourneys.

As usual some off point replies regarding Replay Poker.

First, Replay and Cards Chat enjoy a promotional relationship with a tournament event run periodically.

I was a member of Replay before I joined Cards Chat and still practice there. Replay is an excellent site with a broad array of games offered (bigger than some pay sites) and has a certified random number generator. There are well over a million members who are ranked both via tournament points and chip count. People play on a daily basis and games can be extremely competitive.

You receive rewards for achieving a variety of milestones and can 'acquire' friends, which are noted as a sign of being a sociable, friendly player.

The idea playing with play chips is not instructional is BS. Many who play on Replay are smart and accomplished people who simply do not have the inclination to play with real money - there are lawyers, doctors, scientists and retirees etc. a broad spectrum plays at Replay.

In fact it is painfully obvious when a newbie shows up after learning the game on PokerStars. Yes, they can be ridiculously loose. However, give them a few sessions and they tend to realize the majority on Replay take the game seriously, then they settle down to learn and play themselves.

Here are the two current Cardschat promotions at Replay Poker. Even though it's play money, the games are serious. Well worth a look at.

Hey, you should def join the CC individual league on Replay poker. These games are def competitive, and you can win prizes from CC over the course of the season. It also doesn't matter if you just play a few of the games here and there either.

The added bonus is the tend to be very friendly games too....:)

Sorry. It is Facebook Poker and nobody takes it serious. I tried playing 'free' spades, hearts and pinochle in the same vein. Same thing over and over. A bunch of people who don't know how to play.

Right, nobody takes it seriously but Replay has over a million members, from a vast array of backgrounds. And everyone of them does not know how to play (which presumably includes the CC members who play there?)

Nothing like a sweeping generalization.

Just calling a spade a spade. Or if you like, the kettle black.
