Any idea when ACR/BCP will be fixed?
So I just checked BCP and it still seems to be messed up. No tourneys are showing up. Last night something must have happened. Was in a tourney and then all of sudden I'm constantly logged out. I thought I was banned for some odd reason.

ACR down?
Last night there was a cancellation of the OTR Freeroll at 6:00pm and the regular 6:00 ACR freeroll also never happened. This morning I signed on and there’s nothing at all showing. Wonder if they got hacked?

Well the chat has been messed up for about 7 months now, they still don't let you show your hand, they won't let you see the last hand of a tourney that knocks you out (wonder why that is?), they openly protect bad players at the ring games (think about what this actually says about them for a minute), and then there is the NG, so fixed? Probably no time soon. This post will probably be deleted because WPN doesn't want to acknowledge or address any of these problems because they are no **n (what the word fun looks like on their site because chat is so bad).

Our ability to show our hands to opponents was intentionally removed, I made a suggestion this feature should at least be allowed in home games so we can taunt our friends, but ACR never responded to me (ACR Rep said he would pass it along to the programmers, and I'm sure they did pass it along but the point is, ACR doesn't want us to show cards for some unknown reason).
I believe the chat box issues is directly related with the "show cards" issue... my feeling is that ACR doesn't want us showing our cards, and they don't see any point to us chatting. I agree with them, in general, but it seems a bit heavy-handed to remove the feature entirely. If I had to guess a reason, it would be "speed of play", ACR seems quite concerned with keeping the pace of play at almost a lightning speed, which since rake is a function of the time it takes to play each hand or each tournament, I can certainly sympathize with them... but I wish they would sympathize with us players sometimes in return. Perhaps the overlays makes up for much of that, overlays are clearly a good faith thing for a site to constantly do...

Also cash game volume on ACR has almost dried up. According to PokerScout it used to be quite similar to 888 Poker. But now the 7 day average for 888 Poker is 900, while for ACR its only 100. So either ACR are having fairly persistent technical issues, or their recent changes to cash games has been really poorly recieved by players. I hope, they get things up and running again, because after all ACR seem to be one of the better options for US based players

Once again some of it probably goes to the blocking of screen names before you sit down at the table. This is the absolute dumbest thing I have ever heard of on a poker site. You can't walk into a casino and hide behind a wall from other people before they sit down at the table with you, so what exactly is the point of this? These clowns get further and further away from actual poker every time they do an update. Want a list of how this is happening? See my comments from a few post above. They openly protect fish/rake generators yet you still have those that will protect these clowns at WPN and their software.Also cash game volume on ACR has almost dried up. Chat works for me - no problem. And now they event screen for bad words like **** *** **** mother ****** and son of a *****. Pecker is still acceptable though!
Also - you can see the hand that busted you out - but you can not replay it. Because you are busted out. You will have to access your tracking HUD software for that. No issue though - you can see it as it is happening. That would actually be a nice feature to replay the bustout hand. I'd like that also.
And there is nothing wrong with the rng. Same as all others.
You might want to check your settings for the chat wolf. I had to check the view observer and player chat in the options menu.

Show cards at the end of the hand - when your opponent folds (to show a bluff or to show you had the nuts) - and also if you fold but want to show - are both features upcoming - looking at the dev. trello page.

Now the 7 day average is up to 450, and 24h maximum is 1.477. The latter number is very close to 888 Poker, so seems like, ACR/BCP has been down for days, but now its up and running again. It would be weird also, if such a minor change would cause almost a 90% drop in volume. Some players will dislike it, but others might like it and be more likely to play as a result.

No sir the chat still isn't fixed. Not only do you have to put up with the random asterisks where there shouldn't be any but the chat also cuts out on the final two tables. Not all of us are holdem players and keeping track of a multi-way all in in Omaha can sometimes be difficult, you used to be able to replay them on WPN. The NG is way worse than others. I noticed you didn't address the other issues, WPN has gotten progressively worse over time.Chat works for me - no problem. Chat works for me. I do agree their bad word masking is silly. A lot of words are blanked out like assume - and other innocent words.
The other issues you say - are nothing more than your opinion, thats why I didn't address them.

Opinion? Have you not read why they have started blanking out names before you pay a blind or ante and no longer show who is at the table at ring games? It's not opinion, they say "it's to protect our weaker players." So like I said they openly protect them.

Oh yeah I recently read about that. I do agree with you that would suck for cash game players.
I don't play cash - so I have no input on that annoying "feature". If I did play cash I suppose that would make me peeved though.

Was looking to begin the new tournament Freebuy SS $500 GTD. I thought it was supposed to be at 1200 today but as of 1220 the whole site is locked up and you cant log in much less play. Hopefully they will be back up soon!

Just the usual maintanance, nowadays they have it more often, not 1-2 times in a month, i think in May they had 3-4, almost every week.
Who wants to make a bet, will it crash today after few hours from the restart???
