Sit and Go No Limit Holdem
Buy-in = 1.50 $
Players = 9
Speed (!) =
Pay-Out = 2.32 $ + 3.48 $ + 5.81 $ = 11.61 $

9 x 1.50 $ = 13.5 $ Buy-in

13.5 - 11.61= 1.89 ====>> 1.89 / 13.5 = 0.14 = 14 % Rake

Am I missing something?

More rake is good! [emoji3]

It's a big bite of the cherry but in my opinion you get a lot back from that 14% in playing on PS...

Still tough to take though!

More rake is good. You get paid by them or something? I hear your actually losing micro tables at PS. So your getting less services and you think paying more is better. Is this a GEICO commercial. Just a way of getting more from you. Most people who don't make a profit will stop playing faster leaving the more experience players eating at each other. Less fish less profit. Sites win either way. Everyone goes to the free rolls and eventually the sites will stop those. Look at BOL. Like in everything in life if you just let things go they will take more. Let's play poker:tomato:

What about the bonus chests?
Are they a system to earn the rakes back?

Yeah, ok....

It was a lighthearted reference to DNegs controversial comment about more rake being good.

Guess that was over your head.

Talking of 'your', presumably by 'your' you actually meant 'you're' but I'm not one to presume what other people mean.

I'm not sure who or what you've been listening to but don't believe everything you hear! [emoji6]

14% Rake seems a lot to me.

Is it still possible to win money on the long term or is it more likely i am going to lose money even if i would be a decent player?

The pokerstars players especially the regulars have long people do not consider. What to say if one of my friends regularly on NL5, refused in the Christmas action, they say you and so much won and can not participate in the Christmas calendar.
