When you play online, does the poker room (ACR, BET Online, etc.) show your bankroll and bets in your local currency or in US Dollars?

party poker show you it in dollars and your own currency which for me is pounds. Just click to see either one. Ipoker network is the same if I remember.

But 888 is shown just in dollars.

Dollars have become something familiar to most players. I think this currency is used by many poker rooms.

I play at pokerstars and keep my bankroll in dollars, but at the checkout they can be converted to another currency (if necessary). Sincerely, Sergey.

The default option is always showing in US$, but you can change it into some other (the most popular) currencies. But on some rooms (like party) it is possible only once

Yes most poker sites are shown in dollar currency. When I was living in South Africa, I was playing Silversands and that poker site uses Rands as currency.

Those you mention use USD. On others it can be different. It is geared towards their target market and regulations. The French based site Winamax uses Euro as does any of those Ipoker skins like william hill and Befair which are UK based. You can still deposit with US but either they or your payment processor charge a very small currency conversion fee.

On Pokerstars there used to be Pounds and Euro only buy in tourneys not so long ago. I don't see them anymore now everything is US and they convert your local currency if it is not USD.

I haven't found a poker room or casino that shows my balance in my local currency. Only a couple bitcoin wallets.
