I know lots of people using bot to make money but my question is about how can we know pokerstars not using bots to take your money and we lose all time. Because I don’t know how can we be sure people who sitting on our table are real player. You can’t prove it right? Also how can you find players to play all the time. I think most of time we are playing against pokerstars account and they always win because they are coded before. What do you think?

I don’t think so, I don’t think most of time we are playing against pokerstars bots. But it’s my opinion.

I think it is something that we will never know, pokerstars has been like banks, it is very difficult to verify that they are taking money from you unfairly, however we all know that they do. It has happened to me in big tournaments that I can never advance and in effect, a player arrives to take all your chips from you, and he or she will win no matter what you have, sometimes when I am very patient and I only observe try to have some conversation to this type of players to see if they are real people, 1 in 10 answers. So if you ask me, if I think there are pokerstars bots that make sure you don't win anything? My response is YES but also I know now that it's their place and they do what they want and since it's a multimillion-dollar company (we do it that way) it's going to be very difficult for us to get them be properly investigated.

I think part of the reason we think players are PokerStars bots is because they don’t respond in chat. Several reasons besides bots for this: they don’t speak English and thus don’t know what you r saying, they have chat turned off, they are multitabling and don’t have time to chat, they are focused and ignore chat, maybe others as well.

I think it would disastrous for them to use bots for the small amount they would get vs the huge negative exposure and possible criminal prosecution if they are caught. At any time there are tens of thousands of players online and I’m sure they are hauling in huge rake.

Just my 2 cents. (Though I’m Canadian so probably my 1 US cent)

Pokerstars bots

Pokerstars and every poker site uses bots. If one of there bots loses to another one of there bots the money stays with the site.

I do not think that professional players use bots to earn more money, if they exist because the rooms recognize it but the truth is I do not believe that they have bots to take money from someone

It's hard to answer this question. One of the largest poker companies in the world. I don't think they are using bots. They earn on how many people play with them. After all, they receive income from each entry into the tournament. And risking your image for the sake of preserving some kind of capital, I think it is inappropriate.

It does not matter to me who uses whom. For me, the main thing is the pleasure of the game, and the opportunity to increase my bankroll. I do not like to complicate anything.

I do not think that poker stars are using bots but, honestly, who knows? If you think that bot is playing with you at the table try to talk to him, I am pretty sure that bot could not reply. In one tournament I had a good stack due to I had a lot of good winning cards, so one of the loosing players accused me that I am a bot. So I asked him " why?" he was a little bit confused. But anyway we do not know about the bot and I guess will never know about it.

I don't think so, but it's a huge site that makes a profit without making such gestures

Knowing the crazy stuff that can happen onstars table I won't be very surprised if they have some kind of scam going on. But at the same time this kind of stuff happ3n also when playing freerolls of the forum with 100% real player coz they need the pwd so in my opinion it 's not bots but something else is probable.

The answer is no, pokerstars don't have bots.
That may happen on smaller sites, specially if they are a giant ponzi scheme, but i believe bigger sites cant afford to do that.
Mainly because users have tools, you can use a tracker.
Also good players got used to recognize such things for theyr own safety, they sometimes know when a player is sketchy.
If something like a house bot comes to light, pokerstars would be done forever.
But dont forget.

We are playing poker, a game everyone is trying to take your money, so always try to be protected, and if a player seems weird to you, either move tables or try to seek the truth.

Cheers.

I completely agree with you, it would not be logical for the stars to use bots.

The establishment always wins, so your theory may be correct.

Once I was registered to a spin and go in party poker and the table took a long time to complete. Then entered a player named "bot" with a number after. This one made no sense plays all the time, and was eliminated very fast. I won the game and the cents in the end, but I had the suspicion that that player was a bot registered just to complete the table. But is just a suspicion...

I find Pokerstars punishes me if I withdraw money, others have suggested maybe I just play differently after but it's always in the back of my mind that something is fishy

You can't be 100% sure about anything. There is a lot of money spinning in online poker, especially on pokerstars. Personally, I don't think online poker is crystal-clear. But it's still impossible to prove anything.

I totally dont think any site uses bots. Poker site are making easy money via the rake. Many are in areas of the world that are more open to having issues. The problem i think would be this, do we really think if it was happening it could be kept a secrete? Then take a site like PS and think how big it is and how many people word there, would this big a secret actually stay one? i just dont think it would.

Do I think Pokerstars are using Bots to steal my money? No! Not in a million years, and why is that? Because I have no money for them to steal, Sure I play a lot of Poker, but most of the time I play free-rolls, so how would they make money stealing from themselves?
Pokerstars is probably one of the biggest poker sites in the world They would not risk their reputation by stealing a few cents here and there, They don't need to because they have enough professional players playing in high stake games, who are sponsored by Pokerstars. and take a portion of their winnings while the rest goes back into the company. Why do you think Poker sites pay Pros like Chris Moneymaker and Chris Ferguson, and a lot more besides, sponsorship deals to promote their sites.
It gives the wannabe's a chance to play against the Worlds best players, for huge amounts in prize money, in games they would not normally play, So why would they risk killing the Golden Goose that make them so much money? They wouldn't.
Any player who uses Bot software, could in fact steal more money from sites like Pokerstars, by beating the Professional Sponsored players, and making a small fortune from them, and that is why they have inbuilt security systems to identify these players and stopping them before they can.
You need ask yourself, how much more are the sites going to lose if they were investigated and found to be corrupt, the fines and compensation they would have to pay out would be Astronomical, and would probably bankrupt them, So in my view Pokerstars are not using Bots and are in fact spending a fortune to ensure that their site is protected and safe for everyone to play.

When the fun Stops STOP!
