Has Pure Play Poker been shut down

I've been playing on PurePlay since they started. I have sent email to all the different contacts @ PP without a response. Yea I think they are gone. Too bad because I have collected cash many times & had 8.6 M in chips

The pureplay-rockyou website is definitely down and I should write and tell them I told you so but I know they are not responding or paying-out to the winners.

Pureplay is dead, finally.

I've been saying it for 2 years to every player at every table I played with that this site was going to shut down and go dark.. This site was dying. For months they sent me emails practically begging me to buy chips, as if I ever would. I've never spent a cent on pretend poker and never will.
When I want to spend real money playing poker I go to a REAL casino where I can see people dealing real cards.
I joined PP 10 years ago when it actually had players playing 24-7. Basically played just on the weekends. I actually have to work M-F to pay my bills.
It was all just for fun. Online pretend poker. With slowest server and site ever on the entire net.
All the years I played, all sites I've surfed, PP was mountains below the slowest site I've ever been to. You could literally make an ice-cube in your freezer between rounds of a game of Hold'em.
I'm glad this site is dead. It has been a disappointment from day one.
I'd like to say I'm sorry for all you dip$hits who actually spent real $$$ on this, site but I'd be lying.
If you're going to gamble for real, then do it for real.

Pureplay Gone

It would appear that sometime in late November they mysteriously just shut down, owing 100's of players money. One sure thing I have noticed now, my poker spam adds from other sites and porn adds have stopped 100% as of early December. I was getting from 5 to 10 adds a day. The number one complaint about Pureplay was their so called random card generator and how it would flop cards. Consistent card flops that would defy the odds of regular poker card play, in other words.....many seem to feel Pureplay cheats. Hope this helps.....

Too bad this site (Pure Play) is gone. I had a lifetime membership since 2016 plus I was earning $400 to $600 per year.
The poker client software was very poor, using MSFT Internet Explorer which was no longer supported/updated by Microsoft.
