I'm about to turn 21 (few weeks) in Pennsylvania and I'm wondering how PokerstarsPA is, as it's the only US-based legal option for me. I currently play micro stakes on ACR and my bankroll only support 50 cent tourneys and below, and mostly 2NL cash but I could take shots at 5NL. I'm wondering how everyone's experience is on PokerstarsPA, and specifically what kind of tourney traffic and stakes they have to offer. As a side question, what's the lowest buyin tourney they offer?

Hey, I am from Pa. and P-Stars is OK, since Wuhan Flu they get about 2500 runners in the evening , weekends sometimes get more , I was trying to post a screenshot of nightly Mtts but this website wouldn't let me upload it. Anyway, there is only ,1 @ $1 , a couple at $2 , mostly $3 5- and then up from there. I haven't played many of Sitn Gos. I have been playing more cash lately. I have to say the lower buy-in MTT's are really bingo games, From 5 and up it turns into more of a poker tournament.

Anyway you should download the software and check it out , first deposit they give you a free 20-30 something dollars GOOD LUCK

Thanks so much for the reply, I'll definitely be checking out the cash games to build up the roll and still play ACR tourneys on the side. Good luck and happy playing!

I believe the lowest tourney are $1 to include SNG with 6 player max (not 9 players tables at SNG). Cash games are also 6 player max, unless you move up to 50N or higher, then you have option for 6 or 9 table. Cash Games go as low as 2NL. Unfortunately, I didn't find any freerolls by third party, only PokerStarsPA sponsored freerolls (first deposit, etc.)
Also, I find that PokerStarsPA, specially lower stakes, is full of players who will chase gut shot, even call All In on the turn. Good thing about PokerStarsPA is that you get to know the players, since its limited field. Good luck

It's good, but you're going to find it tough to find tournaments at your buyin range.
