LOL @ Joe...well said. Don't waste your computer resources or your own personal resources on party poker. I play on 12 sites - but PS,FT are obviously the best. Then UB, Carbon...but for those late nights/early mornings - I like Costa :) Easy money

FT vrs. PS

I tend to use FullTilt more because of habit. However pokerstars is the only site that is comparable to it! From the range of tourny`s to the list if live games.FullTilt has a mixed game section.I don`t think you can beat that anywhere. Anyway they are close enough to each other in my book!!

I like the structure on Tilt and hate those very large numbers on PS. Although if I play like I'm supposed to, those numbers fall quite quickly.

actualy I#m getting one bad better after the other on pokerstars.

Incredible, it seems like PS wants me to loose. So I will take a break on PS and play on FT.

I thin both sides are very good

FT vs. PS

I prefer FTP, mainly because of the software.

I'm a Mac user, and I have to run PS using software called crossover, and it doesn't allow me to resize the screen.

However, I am now a beta tester of the new PS Mac software, and it looks promising, but still not as good IMO.

i like the entry level sats on ftp a lot, esp the token sats. i think theyre very beginner/lowroller friendly and can help one (re)create a workable 'roll very quickly from scratch. then you can go on and sample the weekly guarantees or the winner's choice starting out from zero.

on stars, on the other hand, either you have the gigantic $3 rebuy which is like an extended bingo hour or you have to plunk down 20/50-plus bux to play a decent sat/qualifier.

I read every post in this thread

and I realy don't think that we have to compare the engine of the two sites. I think, The two sites used a function, that called randomize, and with some combinations it's output a number. And this number is represent a card. Someone think differently?

At first I liked PS a lot better. But now I lean a lot more toward FTP. I think the user interface is better on FTP. Also most of the private freerolls I do are on FTP, so that is were I have built my bankroll. PS changed their freeroll format awhile back and I don't like the way it is now. I just don't have a reason to play there as much anymore. Now when I go back to PS, the interface almost seems overwhelming. I agree with one of the posters that changing the background to the beach scene can have a soothing effect. That has helped.

My vote is for FTP

i like Full Tilt, because the blind structure is more competitive.
and the visual look is better

The visual look is better??? It looks like a Nintendo game from the 80's!!!

but then again ive never tried out poker stars
how many freerolls ration is it to ftp?

Your profile says you play at poker stars?? How have you never played there?

I like Full tilt better because of the setup and all the sites i belong too has their freeroll there.

Full Tilt does have better freerolls. However, PS has a lot better tournaments with low buy ins.

If you are a freeroll grinder than PS probably isn't the place for you. I suggest you deposit 20 bucks and play on Poker Stars. There are low limit ring games and tournaments. If you use prober BRM you can grow your BR on PS and start playing in some of the big tournaments with huge payouts. Poker Stars is way better than Full Tilt in everything except Free Rolls. Poker Stars has a smooth and up to date look to it. The software runs with little to no problems. They update the software and make improvements on a regular baises. There are MTT SNG's, single table SNG's, heads up SNG's for all sorts of BR's. If you don't want to grind out a long tournament you can play in the turbo tournaments or the tournaments with 10min blind levels. There are also many MTT's with overlays for any BR as well. Not to mention the promo's they run giving away huge pay outs to lucky members with milestone hands. You can play ring games for a $1 buy in on the 2nl level. You can play all the way up to 400/200 if you wish. They have a wide range of games for any and all BR's. If you have a big enough bank roll you can always take a shot at a pro. They have a search for a pro option, you can sit with them and play and chat. You can also just pull their table up and watch. Also, DN is playing the lower stakes, if you get lucky you can sit down with DN and play. I was almost lucky enogh to sit with him, but he left just after I sat down.

I have nothing against FT, I just think PS is way better!!!

I have always preferred Pokerstars for tourneys. I like the bigger fields and find I am much more patient in them. I also find the quality of play to be higher. The blind structure is much better as well.

I play both sites and see no problem with either site. I usually play more at FT simply because there's always less people in the tourneys so they'll play faster.

I agree. stars is deffinitly the place to be for tourneys. Full tilt just cant compete with the wide range that stars offers.
