I'm experiencing the same issue with the "hit bet button" like you said. Exactly the same problem, it seems to work sometimes only in the second click and i think that i clicked, but i didn't. I was thinking that was a mouse problem, but now I see it wasn't reading your post.

I didn't have the problems you described. But in fact I have been in love with this poker room for many years and I think that these problems would not change my opinion.
I don't even know what has to happen for me to be disappointed in pokerstars:dontknow:

I think the laws have changed the past few years, as this year they are allowing a full casino to open here in Hot Springs.

Anyone know how often those sites update their Player policies?

Yah mine seems to be getting worse... sometimes it takes 3 clicks to work. And like you, I'm certain I've clicked it (& assuming the action has worked) then I'm on to another table & another... & then discover the click didn't take on the first one but sometimes not getting to it until it has timed out (Z00M tables). Pretty lame by Pokerstars to not have a mouse click always activate the bet button.

I feel I need to ask this here and hopefully someone will come with an answer:

Is there hacks on PokerStars? and I mean im not asking for it is just that sometimes I feel that a player is behaving strange or placing odd bets like he know what cards will come up on the flop/turn/river

It happened to me twice with an opponent same amount of chips i had, one I had pair of Kings and he had 75 off suit, he paid a 5BB bet off position and flopped a straight, i got pissed more because of his 5BB call then the cards itself... but what happens next just chock me,

I get AK and do the same bet, if he pays attention he thinks i have stuff 5BB again, he called alone with 83 off suit, flop i hit my Ace and he hits his 3, HE BETS 5BB on me, I call, the turn is a 4 the guy goes ALL IN, I called and the rive is an 8....

So what are your thoughts about it?

Is anyone doing that New Year's Spraggy Challenge on Stars? 'Spraggy New Year'

I figured I should give it a go but not wanting to play kick off games or Tempest.

Requirements seem to be pretty simple.

As I rarely play SPINS I had no idea how long it would take before I'd hit a 5x qualifier (I think I've only hit one once in my life, lol). So I loaded up 4 SPINS and right away I hit a 5x multiplier and got that one out of the way (didn't win the 5x, lol but did end up making a profit from the 4 spins... BUT they didn't HOOK me into them... well maybe just a bit, lol)

Only 1 tournament to go now & I'll have 9 of the challenges completed. Platinum Pass here I come!!!!

Yeah, I played it, didn't get any tickets. TBH for all the challenges to complete it I would not have minded for slightly slower blinds in the event.

Trying listening to your computer through a bluetooth headset and then disconnecting it. You will prob find you loose all sound from the client until you restart it. Very annoying and then you timeout your tables because you cannot hear them!

Really hoping they fix that one sometime soon!

I play without sound, so it won't annoy me.

Stars is slow for me, freezes if I want to play 2+ tables, and doing another activities on my laptop such as Youtube, so I have to be careful about fast clicks.
Also, today had a bug like never before ("me sitting on the right as well"):

Only one acceptable option would be for me to be able to turn off Aurora. I like how the tables look so the basic graphics itself, don't need another functions which took away the control from my games.

I have not had any of these technical problems as was talked about at the beginning of this post. Only trouble I have with poker stars is trying to win.

Try reinstallating the program, stars is by far the best software out there. Now 888 Holy cow they have issues all the time is so sad. I love how fishy the site is but that alone is the most frustrating part.

so what exactly do you want to hear? your opponent was obv a complete donkey and he will loose a lot in the long run. sometimes these type of players get lucky in the short run and we have to accept that

just make a note about him and hope to see him again.

A familiar situation. I solved it for myself as follows. Since my computer is very weak, I disabled the Aero option in the settings. This allowed the weak graphics card to react relatively quickly to the dynamics of the game. And perhaps the most important thing is that about once a week I clean the system from various garbage. I use the auslogics boostspeed utility to clean the system. But you can also try the most convenient utilities for you. As a default browser, I use Opera. Because Chrome loads the processor heavily.

TEAMSTARS

Has anyone (else) received an invite to TEAMSTARS?

I think it's a newly formed group where they've invited some of the players on the site to gain feedback and make improvements on Pokerstars.

I just received this invite a few days ago & am now on TEAMSTARS.

I told them I want to be on 'Team Online Sponsored Star's Seniors Group Division' I just thought it'd be great for Marketing. I would even live stream my mico/low stakes play

Pokerstars software update!

I was pleasantly surprised to see the new software update today on Pokerstars. It seems they've greatly improved the Aurora garbage by making the Mercury tables look very much like the way the old software looked. Many more options to change the colours etc.

Unfortunately I'm finding I am still experiencing the bet button not always working & often needing to be hit twice.

On my last survey for Teamstars, I did mention that my biggest peave with Stars software was the inability to opt out of using Aurora. Well they did the next best thing... made it look like the old software
