Pokerstars reward system

Hello,

What do you guys think about this new rewards system ? You now need 800 points for a blue chest that barely gives you anything. It used to be 300, than
600 now 800. This is ridiculous as for micro stakes it takes 2-3 weeks to make one chest. Any feedback from stars on this ?

I think for micro stakes players it is pretty terrible. Low prize reward system (so you don't win much extra for putting in Volume).. AND.. VERY HIGH RAKE. It's a lose lose situation

I didn’t think that PS promotions could be worse, but yes they can. They offer the worst promotions and because they really don’t have much competition in the business, they don’t care. I wish it could be like years ago when there were so many options of poker rooms.

Sorry, mate, are you still in 2007? There is tons or rooms, many of them are good and competitive, GG even had more online players than PS.

GG that is relatively new and what else? partypoker, ACR, 888? Seriously, no competition for PS in my opinion.
And GG also offers bad promotions so no one is going to choose GG rather than PS because of their rewards program, so, why PS is going to lose money offering better promotions if the players are going to end up playing in their room.

Since they started with this one of chests and ended the old system, it only goes from bad to worse. It's not even worth the rakeback anymore, it practically doesn't exist

I don't like their reward structure at all...

I recently completed my chests and, three times in a row, opened stars-coins-only rewards, not even a single freeroll ticket or anything- just a handful of measly stars coins, three times on the bounce! :laugh:

I ground my backside off to unlock all three, only just managing to complete the progress in time...

I actually contacted support because I thought maybe it was bugged, then support person said "Hold for me please while I look into this for you" then came back after five minutes and said "yes it's normal, supposed to happen."

Ok, thanks for clearing that up for me, just checking! :icon_thum



Anyway, on the brightside I really like the look of this as a reward/promotion for being part of CC and Stars combined... :flute:

The rewards system at stars has been terrible for a while now, ever since the "more rake is better" nonsense.

In regards to micro stakes though it is the same everywhere, I think party offer upto 40% rakeback but in reallity in micro stakes you are not getting past the first tier often. So the only players who benefit from this are the mid/high stakes grinders.

I have long ceased to hope for any rakeback from stars to be honest. I try to win my money in games and tournaments without thinking about tasks or promotions.

Have you noticed that there were more prizes for completing the assignment before? Already, there is really nothing they do not give for fulfilling the tasks given to me for 6 years, the bonus has never dropped in the mail ...

Promotions at pokerstars are not really the best for micro players, it is really very difficult to unlock chests, but it is still a room with a wide variety of games and free entry tournaments. I'm still playing at pokerstars, but there are many other interesting options like 888, party poker and unibet.

I thought it was a mistake. I'm surprised I even got 1 chest.

When I go to the PS, my thoughts are all about the game, I don't even remember the chest, they have very little sense.Although once I found $ 10 in the chest and was very surprised

Now, you do get a lot of chests but they contain very little.
