I noticed that there are performance issues with pokerstars in the evenings when more than 150k people are logged and playing games. Several time I was dropped from tables. The client is freezing. Lagging issues.
This started since week or two. I didn't had such issues before that and nothing is changed on my machine.
Could you please share your experience.

for me just happened ("Administrator: The tournament has been manually paused") maybe two times in last weeks, not any other problem. This already happened years ago, I think is not a big problem, PS have enough money to fix any issue. more players = more money for them.

I'm from Romania, and when it reaches 150k+ players it becomes a little sluggish, but after 200k+ it can be unplayable at times, it makes me time out, I can't return to the table even if I click 100 times, it's bad, I play now in the morning when there are are 40-50 thousands.

The performance of Pokerstars has improved a lot on my notebook since the update that modified the user interface. Currently there are almost 200k players online and I'm not having any problems, maybe it's a problem with the Pokerstars servers in your region.

I also observe it sometimes. At approximately 200 000 users it starts to lag sometimes and login is slower. During peak traffic time like sunday evening when there are 250K or even more users situation is really bad. Last sunday i needed 20 minutes to just login and after that there were situations where i waited for more than 10 seconds before the game responds to my button click. Obviously there are a lot more players than before due to the quarantine and pokerstars need some time to adapt.

I have raised a case to support team but I noticed in the form red note explaining that play money tournaments are reduced because of technical issue.
For the first time they didn't responded within a day.

At sunday evening there were over 300K players in the evening and that was definitely visible. It took me around 5 minutes to just login and table (for the preregistered tournament) to open. When i was moved to another table it also took several minutes in one of the cases for new table to become functional. Lag of several seconds between pressing button and action being applied on the table was also frequent. It is clear that their servers are overloaded in peak hours but i hope soon this to be fixed. Anyway i can not say that it was unplayable but it is definitely different to the normal experience.

For me it is impossible to play. Same behavior when people exceed number of 200k+. In the past there where lag in Sunday evenings. Support did not contact me which is also very frustrating.
Now imagine turbo satellite and when I was able to play I was already in trouble with 2/3 of my chips gone.
Strange thing is that there is no information that they are experiencing any kind of problem or some kind of an announcement.
However they are to big to pay attention to small thing like me :).

I can assure you that years ago poker stars worked fine with around 300k players in the Sundays. For me it is obvious that they had performance issues maybe because new Software/Hardware back-end. Honestly I do not care like most of the players. We like to have stable performance and user experience sized for average usage multiplied by 1.5.
What I mean - capacity planning not only for back-end also for bandwidth to the environment.
However I can not do anything because nothing depends on me :).
