My computer recently died and I had to download pokerstars onto another computer. Since I am in USA, I had to download Pokerstars.net and am unable to get pokerstars.com. The problem is that I don't seem to have any Hand Replay option on the poker tables.

Please, someone tell me: Do other players on Pokerstars.net have, or not have Hand Replay?
Is there anyone else that does not have the hand replay option?
(I sent a message to Pokerstars and received a reply that didn't answer my question.)

Hi there! I've been using PS play money for a very long time (like years before Black Friday in the US).

Usually the trick to getting certain features from the real money App (like your hand history in the info tab while at the table) is to install the .com real money app, uninstall it then install the play money app. They use similar sets of config files so the features will remain unlocked (this does NOT work to get real money working in places where it's blocked).

However recently both the .com and.net websites are redirecting to .bet, and the client you download is determined by your computer's location. Needless to say this prevents this method from working. I was just trying to set up the client on a new computer and I think the only way to get it working is to copy the config files from one computer to another. Unfortunately that's not gonna work for your situation, so I'm not sure what to do.

I don't suppose anyone else has any ideas?

I haven't updated for a long time PokerStars.net . Today I went into the room and launched a Sit-and-Go tournament. You're right about the replay option. She wasn't there during the game.

I haven't found any way to get the hand replayer on the .net version.

I'm in the USA and had the .com version for quite a while and then was forced into the New Jersey version 15 minutes before a League game, of course none of the home games were visible so I had to uninstall and reinstall before I could do anything else.

Thank you for your answers. I feel very disadvantaged without the replay. I wrote to PokerStars and told them I didn't think it was fair for some people to have it and others not. They did not care.

Just updated the app on my alternate PC and it looks like the replay is still there.<img src="https://bucket.bluegartr.com/fecbe0c5bc2c3fd674811891d5cd8bb2.png">I'm gonna compare the INI files between this and a fresh play money install and see if I can find which settings you need to tweak to get it working.

I might have found the answer.. let me know if this works.

1) Close out of the client, then find your user.ini file and open the file in Notepad.
(it's stored in C:\Users\*****\AppData\Local\PokerStars\ or C:\Users\*****\AppData\Local\PokerStars.NET\ ;
***** is your Windows login name, if you don't have one check under C:\Users\Default\)

2) Under the section labeled [PipeOption], below the line DefaultCurrency, add these lines:
SaveMyHandsPath=C:\Users\*****\AppData\Local\PokerStars\HandHistory\
IHHEN=1
KeepHands=30
SaveMyHands=1
SaveMyTournSummariesPath=C:\Users\*****\AppData\Local\PokerStars\TournSummary\

3) Save, close the notepad and reopen the client.

What should happen is the client will create a subfolder in \HandHistory\ with your player name and a text file for each cash table or tournament you're playing in. The text file will be set in the same format as the text file you'd receive from Pokerstars when doing a hand history request through the Tools menu.

(BTW, there are similar lines here for the bet slider settings. I know the play money client doesn't really let you customize those either.)
