Hello friends. I have not been able to make the last update of the pokerstars mobile application, when it reaches 60% it restarts. I have already tried uninstalling the application but this only made the situation worse because I am unable to download it again. Doing so redirects me to an online version. Has this happened to someone else?

The same thing happens to me, I changed the software to the cell phone and now I can't download the pokerstar and sportting applications

Yes it happened to me.
The best way to act is to connect the chat with support.
Wait for a while until the service reaches your turn.
There they will give you a wetransfer link in which you will download and install without any problems.

How old of devices are you guys using? Just asking because I thought my phone(Android 6) was pushing it, as a bunch of the dif poker Apps won't work for me (most never have) and a few months back when 888 updated I lost ability to play through the App and now have to play through my web browser. But PokerStars still currently works for me, I just updated it successfully yesterday. When I saw this post I worried (and had fully assumed) I'd get the same issue, (Because it happened with the 888app). Are you all still able to play through this online version it's subjecting you to?

Same here. Can no more download the app. They only offer gaming through web browser. Strange and annoying.

The same situation.I already got tired of reinstalling the app 15 times.It can be seen that the technique has not reached us))).I play on the computer and don't get upset anymore.

Saw the thread and thought hmmm. I havent been on Stars in a few days so I thought I’d log on and see whats up.

Full disclosure. iphone 10. Worked fine. I know nothing was wrong because the first thing the app directed me to was the cashier.

All’s well from this end. And I agree with the guy who’s post I’ve quoted. I much prefer playing on the tower but I don’t have one working right now so it’s just the App

I turned off all the bells and whistles in the software and now there are almost no hiccups. Sometimes the information in the upper right corner about my place and the number of remaining players disappears from time to time. And the program always freezes when repeating the previous deal of cards.

click poker log-in then it says "download" but when you click on it it opens the app it the browser itself so it doesnt require you to download it! just lets you play it via the website but its the app! hope this helps

Did u read the thread? People dont want to play in webbrowser, they want to download the app, which is no more possible. Probably due to a technical issue.

This is called a "hanging login". Had this once a few years ago. Only support can help u.

I think you should uninstall everything, contact support and request a new download and then install it again on your mobile and PC

I just updated the PokerStars client on my Android mobile device and everything works for me !!! I'm from Ukraine !!!

Did u read the thread? People dont want to play in webbrowser, they want to download the app, which is no more possible. Probably due to a technical issue.

Ah i see now they might have to factory reset cause when you uninstall the app there is always some data from the app that stays on the phone. might just be the bug that stays on

or they have to uninstall the app and see if they can find data saved parts of the app on the phone itself and delete it fully from the phone

  • Launch the Settings app.
  • Tap "General," and then "iPhone Storage."
  • From the iPhone Storage screen, tap on any app you wish to delete.
  • Tap "Delete App" to remove it.
  • If you still want to use an app, just launch the App Store and reinstall the app you just deleted.


if you have android its almost the same

Sometimes i have problems with the download . I hve to download again the software , or even more choose on the app settings to allow this app to make changs or to download new adds,, cause sometimes I have the message that this is untrustworthy source and that the downloaded files could hurt the mobile , so the app is being blocked . After I change the settings , I have no problem , nowadays thankfully I have no problem
