Is pokerstars legit and trustworthy?

So daniel negreanu has left pokerstars and the site is coming under more and more criticism than ever before. I have played on the site for 13 years and the thought of this site being a scam is gut wrenching. I would be the last to admit it believe me, however I am swaying in the other direction more and more. I questioned stars about several incidents and I had my account froze and they threatened to ban me for questioning their integrity. Also when I sent several emails to them asking about bots on their site and what jungleman cates said on Doug polks podcast they did not reply at all. So stars always reply, why no answer from a site that protects their integrity so much?

I think online poker is a very good business, and many claim to have been manipulated. But nobody could prove that. I play pokerstars every day, and I can only hope that they will not be manipulated

and a crash and burn.
It could be due to ignoring BRM at my peril though getting caught up in the heat of moment.
Why ignore you ask?Well the milly on or something similar and want a shot.
Also could be too aggressive trying to take down blinds and antes to survive fast orbits.
Example below half of roll at that time in milly would not mind if overpair.

We must remember it takes many losers to pay the rake and the few lucky winners.

Didn't check ps, but some rooms state in their T&C that you are not allowed to complain.

I have my worries about pokerstars due to the convenience of bad beats. It just doesnt seem realistic sometimes and I've heard all the arguments about more hands and what not but something's fishy and it's just not my bad play.... I smell a con

Well what I thought of pokerstars being legit is when I made first deposit and then was able to cash out after a week or 2 then I trusted the site to continue playing it.

I love PokerStars it’s the only site I play through. At the same time I have never had the chance to cash out(lol) so I wouldn’t know anything about that. The poker is fine though.

I think poker stars is legit, from my own experience. I personally haven't experienced anything that would make me think otherwise, although my friends who play on it, more often than me, might beg to differ.
Either way, don't think you'll ever be able to prove it...

Online poker sites are a very good business making lots of money. I don't believe they can jeopardize their business doing something stupid like manipulate the soft. If there is a leak somehow they are losing credibility and they can lose their business.

Yeah, sites like poker stars could not afford a controversy like the absolute pot ripper one .
People don't seem to realize with sites like stars there are thousands of hands dealt a second so there will be bad beats, just like there are at live tables if you dealt the same amount of hands at live tables you would see the same "joker stars " hands that people complain about in firring play money games(where for some reason they expect good play)..

it seems like this site gets so angry if you win some money.
because after a small amount of wining you have to prepare your self for a Massive Massive amount of bad luck and bad beats that will take your bankroll down to hell.
i personally stopped playing there since a while.
And iam so happy about that.
There are million of good rooms other than stars , don't ever hesitate to try them.

This is the question everyone's been asking for years now. I have played on many online sites and still don't know the answer. Maybe its rigged, maybe you're just playing vs really good player, maybe maybe maybe. We shall never know because we don't code the programs and we don't own the sites.

One possibility to find the answer would be to start your own Poker Site

LOL... How can all players be unlucky most of the time?

Even if you win you pay rake, so why should the site be angry about you winning?

And why isn't it angry when someone wins with a bad beat ?

And what does the site get from you losing your money to another player, other than you not generating any rake anymore ?

Yes for me poker so far has been reliable and every time I made money and it was no problem.
