Pokerstars froze my account due to its own bug

pokerstars periodically issues bugs, on October 3 my account was frozen due to a bug, the pokerstars gift box did not open. I immediately wrote a letter of support, I'm still waiting for an answer... Has anyone encountered similar pokerstars errors and how long do they take to respond to requests ? :confused::confused::confused:

Do you mean your computer froze when you tried to open it or that pokerstars locked your account?

I was excluded because I helped fund a person who had multiple users! they also took my money and my tickets

I also had an issue opening the PokerStars chests, so I wrote them using the help box in the client and they emailed me within a few minutes. But they couldn't solve the issue :rolleyes:

Separate window opens, loading... and then a window appeared with a message that the account was frozen ...

I didn’t do anything like that, I never threw anything off to anyone, I just played in tournaments. Then I clicked on the gift icon and my account was frozen...

And I am now waiting for them to unfreeze me, this is a mistake of their platform, and because of their mistake, they froze my account, very fun :D:D:D

The account freeze could have simply coincided with the moment when you tried to open the chest...

Now you just need to wait for a response from the support... If you write new letters, then the queue can only move away and the process will drag on...

That seems likely. The chest failed to open, because the account had been frozen for unknown reasons. Not the other way around ;)

When I had a frozen account, I waited for a month and it is worth sending them a scan of ID card.

If you did not do anything illegal on the site, then everything will get better over time. You should have been emailed a letter stating which articles of the rules you violated.

I didn't do anything illegal at all, I played in tournaments for my own money.

A large letter came to the mail with a list of rules, and, as I understand it, you need to focus on the first sentences, the rest is standard. PS wrote: “In line with our internal security processes, we conduct periodic business risk assessments on randomly selected accounts.
Unfortunately, your account has not been verified recently and has been permanently closed as a result. "
No one will go into details as to why me of all the newly registered. Arbitrarily randomly closed my account with no refund because that's okay. In general, they do not care, they seemed to receive standard answer :eek::eek::eek: I don't need pokerstars :(

I'm shocked, as result my account was blocked. Also ps stole my twenty bucks, which is ridiculous :D I've already heard from people on twitch chats and read forums that pokerstars can simply block an account with no refund. And that they have terrible attitude towards their clients, especially new ones. The fact that the pokerstars stole my twenty bucks this way remains a fact. And it's funny :D:D:D

I can't speak for them freezing your account, but I have had the Open chest dialogue freeze my computer in the past. I was able to work around it and also to eventually open it. The more gimmicks they add, the more likely they're also introducing bugs. I've had bugs that crash Pokerstars for over five years now. I've reported them but none have ever been fixed. I now don't do the things that I know will cause the Pokerstars software to crash - that's my fix.

The Pokerstars software is also actively probing your computer system for other software that they don't allow you to run at the same time as their software is running. While the intent is admirable, it also introduces an additional level of complexity that will come with more bugs.

I don't know what the reason for my blocking, I read on the internet that they gave me standard unsubscribe and the game is over. It is possible that due to the fact that I have other rooms, they are fighting the competition by simply blocking the accounts of players who play not only in the ps room. As result, it turns out that if you want to play in the pokerstars room, you cannot play anywhere except in their room, this is already some kind of fascism. Perhaps that is why they do not disclose the reason for the blocking, but simply issue standard unsubscribe :mad: Thanks for the info, I didn't know about it.

Around that date, Pokerstars had a general issue with chests not opening - you were not the only one affected.

The simple solution when this happens? Contact Pokerstars on Live Chat, and request them to open your chests manually (not by email, they've got a backlog of +20k emails) - this is all you need to write;

"Hey support, please open all my unopened chests manually as I experience issues with these chests. If I have old chests which has expired, please refund these as well due to technical issues."

There is an online chat in one of the sections of the support service, but I don't remember exactly in which section !!! Find it and they will answer you much faster !!!

Thanks for the help, it's enough for me that I was blocked without a normal explanation of the reasons. It doesn't matter to me why this was done, because of their system error, or some other reason. After such an attitude towards me, I will not write ps. It was a shame, but no longer.
