Did You call the support and talk about it? sometime ago I called and they offered me the options to choose like: pokestars global, Latim America, and brazil. The support guy explained to me what freerolls were opened to each one option.
I don't remember what I picked, I think was the global one, for me had more oportunities. I hope this helps.
