Recently I got banned from pokerstars (literally no idea why asked for a reason but they said for security purposes they couldn't give me it so I literally can't even defend myself of whatever I done which I had done nothing wrong lol, first of I would like to ask if there is anything I can do about this because they won't tell me the reason..2nd in the case they don't unban me which is like 99.9% because I've been emailing them back and forth for months if I change my isp provider and make a new account say in my aunts name (different maiden name) will they still be able to track my account from my device/ my pokertracker would I need to not use poketracker at all?

Did they ask for verification? There will become a point, where they will, or you will never be able to withdraw any winnings. So with saying that, it would be a BAD idea to try sign up using someone's else name. In fact, I have no idea why someone would even consider this, maybe this is the security reason in the first place?

An acquaintance used two computers with different registrations at PokerStars, once he used the wrong computer registration, they discovered and blocked the accounts and claimed security concerns.

What about PokerStars???? Guessing for you it's rigged or too hard ???? I'd say it's not rigged but I've seen the times it sure feels that way. It's harder than alot of sites forsure but enough fish at lower buy ins.

Seems like your account has been flagged for one reason or another. They probably won't go into specifics, just give you a list of reasons from their user agreements. That you broke one or another. If you are sure you have done nothing wrong, then keep fighting them, it might be a slow process, but you might get some success.

i've been pleading any wrong doing for 3 months straight any they literally won't tell me a thing thats the problem really frustrating.

all my best results are on PokerStars, and i play lots of mix games which no other sites offer that's the huge problem :/

But after a long back and forth writing with the support, luckily everything was clarified. Unfortunately, it is also the case that the support from ps is sometimes a bit slow and if you don't contact the right place, it can take even longer until you get an answer. I would just write to support again and again. But I wouldn't make another account to get around this, because if they figure it out, it could lead to a lifelong ban.

thanks very much for the reply mate that would be my last option but it's the only option i can think off did they end up giving you the reason? they won't disclose anything for me thats why its pretty weird...

Pokerstars has a rule. You can register again in 5 years with your personal name. During this time, the memory of you is cleared on the site. But this is only if no one has played for these 5 years with your IP address (that is, from your home Internet)

I'd say it's pretty much guaranteed to be because you were using PokerTracker.

so if i don't use poker tracker change my isp and get my aunt to set me up an account ill be fine? ill still be playing from the same desktop. and i was never in any trouble my account was mine no wrong doing etc but it's been 3 months closed and i rely on poker as an income and im struggling so i need to think fast.

I contacted them and they replied that my account had been canceled because I was in association with other players, for me this answer was a big surprise. I sent them an extensive email explaining my situation and it didn't take long for them to reply that they were verifying my account because there was a security breach, they asked me to send copies of scanned documents and proof of address. I sent it the same day and they replied saying that they had already verified and that they were releasing my account again.

I met one male pro who receiced account from some girl who wanted to delete account. Still he somehow played and made withdrawals. Probably he asked to change the name. Or asked a girl to withdraw everytime? I doubt.

There have been some not very good changes on the PS in the last 5-6 years, but I am confident that they will notice what needs to be changed and will change.

For example, I miss the good little $ 0.55 Guaranteed Tournaments since I'm not a High Stakes Poker player ...

But I’m confident they’re going back to the older direction.

I disagree. PT4 is clearly permitted on Stars.

PT4 is absolutely and explicitly allowed on Poker Stars.

same thing happened to me a few weeks ago...and to two of my friends who I play with on a regular basis.
Really shook me...
Got access back after everyone accused had replied.
But it left a really sour taste in my mouth. Sure, I know they should be monitoring and dealing with collusion. But suspending accounts without ever providing evidence, is a lack of respect for customers. My play has diminished substantially since then. I used to play several hours per day. And now I don't even play everyday any more.

I also keep my balance really low and cash out everytime I go over $20.

I got suspended from unibet immediately after joining...after entering in wrong password for a CC tourney. Never managed to play a single CC game on the site.

They refused to tell me anything about why I was banned. **** 'em.

There are lots of sites to play on. And whilst I too like stars, **** 'em...take your business somewhere else.
