Hello everyone! Tonight (considering my time) pokerstars stopped a $ 1,000,000 tournament with buy-in 11, who knows the reason? Is it because of the large overlay?

According to their claim, the Tournament # 3227031128 has been canceled due to technical reasons. There has been a bigger number of players and no problems.

I think they just wanted to give away some money so more people play. 2 days ago they gave away 9k tickets to that event, yesterday they made another freeroll for 1k tickets, and then they stopped the tournament and divide the prize pool according to stacks.
You know how much money chip leader got? 200 dollars. So every player who was still in the tournament got some money. Me myself i got 48 bucks.
So yeah i think the real reason was that they just wanted to give away some money to grab more players and not to lose their face in process.
I don't really believe in any tech problems, they had tournaments with 160k players and everything was fine. And they have been existing for a very long time to fix all the possible tech problems.

Oh really? Well there were tournaments on PokerStars with 160k players and everything was fine. And Pokerstars exist for 20 years. Don't you think its enough time to fix all the technical difficulties? Especially with their budget.
Technical error yeah right. They just wanted to give people money so they play on their room and don't go to GG and other places.

Well they are doing a ton of stuff wrong for a long time, but i think the most wrong thing is not to upgrade their sowtware. It really looks like Windows 2000 style man. Technology does not stand still. PokerStars are just greedy and do not think about players much.
I tell you, very soon most people will be playing on GG.

Yes my friend I was a participant in this tournament and I was eliminated the first time with two hands pair ace served and I rebuyed a gain and after more than two hours of playing the tournament was stopped and canceled, yes I won more than the money I participated in, but I was not satisfied because I was motivated and ready to play and get a better result

Call the police. I hope they jailed everybody who works in PokerStars for crushing your dreams of wining that tournament.

Sure we can discuss why this cancellation could have happen and what can we do about it. But your point is just 'Im annoyed that its cancelled' No real damage have done to either side.
As for reasons why could these cancelaltions could be happening and why could not they just reschedule the tournament well i left my opinion.
Okay knowing that they made this tournament just to give people some money to make them stay and play, would this knowing affect your annoyance?

It seems to me that there were no technical problems, they just wanted to give out a little money to motivate people, since they had a very strong competitor GG! I think it was a strategic marketing move and nothing more, since many go to play GG! GG has a very good application, everything is thought out there and it's more interesting to play, especially when you can twist cards, I personally like their smiles! I think that PokerStars seriously thought about the players and now they will work on applications and on all kinds of promotions! In time we will see a change I hope!

We say our opinions and what happened, good or bad, in any tournament or other, or regarding any technical defect.

They will probably put the tournament at a later date like they usually do so dont worry. and they do have a lot of issues lately same with server restart and maintenace

Yes. But i call bluff on that. I say the odds of tech issues are roughly 3%. And the odds of them doing it on purpose be 97%.
Sure we discuss whatever stuff we want. And you basically saying that PokerStars never bluff. Okay, it could be true. But i think everybody bluffs every once in awhile.

It's strange somehow ((, at the Anniversary Tournament 3 years ago, they had more than 200,000 players-and everything went perfectly.And then 70,000 and a break?(

I do not agree with you my friend, all I know is that all poker sites, including pokerstars, and because of the large money that these sites earn, poker rooms organize very important free tournaments and with a high prize-pool to encourage players. I don't know where you got this information from my friend, I never heard of it before, I don't think you have a reliable source for this information

What information? These are just my thoughts. The only information im operating is that PokerStars lost its ground to GG. Right now as we speak 60k players online on GG and 18k on PokerStars. These are just facts.
And also can you confirm that they usually give away 10k tickets to this or any other event for free in freerolls? If yes then okay.
