Hi, is anyone having problems with position in tourny on the top right hand corner? I have noticed that when i start a tourny all the information is there, my position and number of players left but has soon has they change me of tables there is no more info there.

Yes, if you require a quick fix then open the game lobby, leave the table you're on and then click take my seat from the lobby and the info will return.

You'll have to do that every time you get switched table

I am sure, they will get this bug fixed quickly. And in the meantime its actually not that important to know, how many players are left, or what your position in the tournament is. Sometimes this can almost act like a distraction, if for instance you have fallen down into the bottom half of the field, and now you feel, you "must make something happen".

Tournaments should generally be played hand for hand, focusing on making the best decision right now, and without so much concern for "the big picture". The only time, this is really relevant, is, when you get near the bubble or a big payjump. That is sort of important to know, but to get that information on pokerstars you need to go in the lobby tournament lobby anyway.

So what I would suggest is to not even worry about this, until late registration has closed. And then maybe peak in the lobby every 15-20 minutes to see, how far away the bubble is. The rest of the time just focus on playing your hand well paying attention to the effective stack size rather than your position in the tournament.

I only play on the mobile application and for about 5 months they have not shown the positions in chips. An update is needed to show the player ranking, which is very important

+1 I like checking every now and then, but this information is no longer in the upper-right of the screen. Luckily, you can still view this information by using the bottom-left. You know where the "chat" usually is? The far right tab (after Stats) is "info" and your position in relation to how many are left is one of those informational pieces included here.

I'd still prefer it to be visible on the top-right though; I hope it is a quick fix and PokerStars fixes it soon.

Yesterday this information was present at the beginning of the game, then it disappeared and appeared again at the end.

Yes the information disappears when you arrive at a new table. It is a bug but they should fix it quickly I think.

I also noticed the information disappearing after sitting at another table. I couldn't open the pokerstars com version today. The Sochi version opens freely. Strange action.

I think it must be a mistake from the room to myit happened to me that I couldn't close that tab, it bothered me to see all that information all the time, but all of a sudden it fixed

I have been using the pokerstars mobile version for the last few months never had any problems with it apart from this week since monday when i log in it completely freezes from time to time can not find a fix for it🤷*♂️

This update is awful.

table problems as you said..

and getting a lot of lag now when a few tables are open unlike before could easily run 6 tables

now 3 feels like the max but sometimes while 1 table runs it also lags its annoying!

and they really need to fix the table info soon on the top right corner.

but that will probably require another update

I really wonder whether they test their updates before rolling them out. It's not the first time updates have broken some feature or other. It might be a minor thing but it shows them in a bad light. People are still suffering from the aurora engine and I suspect some people will have gone elsewhere.

March 2 update:

I noticed this bug immediately. I often play shortstacked, so it's important to know where I stand and what/when the next level is. To switch between tabs is annoying (I want to see the chat too). I always thought that this feature was one of the advantages of the PS client over the one of ACR/BCP. The latter requires docking tricks to see chat + ranking at the same time.​

April 6 update:

After more than a month, the issue seems to be resolved. It was a big bother to have to reopen my table whenever I am moved to a new one.​
