3 weeks ago I found my poker stars account frozen (have no idea why), today I finally received an email from them:
~In line with our internal security processes, we carry out periodic business risk assessments on randomly selected accounts.
We regret to inform you that your Stars Account has not passed this recent screening process, which has resulted in its permanent closure.~
They still not telling me what have I done wrong if anything. Am I a business risk? What does that even mean?
They go on saying: TSG or any other company within the Group which provides services to the User reserves the right, in its unfettered discretion, to take such action as it sees fit, including terminating this Agreement or any other agreement in place with the User, immediately blocking the User's access to the Service or to any other service offered by The Stars Group, terminating such User's account on the Sites or on any other site operated by The Stars Group, seizing all monies held in the User's account on the Sites or on any other site operated by The Stars Group and/or taking legal action against such User."

I find this to be a rip off to say the least, even fraud....
P.S.
I registered with Poker Stars some 2 months ago, never deposited (lucky me) ,never had other account with them

Never seen anything like it, I am very surprised. Perhaps this is due to the fact that you did not make a deposit, but still it is very unusual. I do not know what to say to this.

It would be right for them to analyze the risk when you take them into account, and with regard to the confiscation of money, it is absurd. If I deposit with them and play buy-in tournaments and win how to motivate the confiscation of the money? I have no problems at PS and I hope it does not happen to me as you suffer! GL.

Did you use some VPN or Proxy?
You know, some IP's are blacklisted, maybe this was the problem
You say you never deposited? and so no money in your account or maybe you won some Freeroll?
Check your IP here: https://www.whatismyip.com/blacklist-check/
I do not understand, if you did not have money and you did not play then you can not have detected anything playing, please answer, I want to know.

Continue sending them emails asking why your account was blocked. But if you violated the rules, you have to admit it honestly. In this case, you will have more chance of unlocking your account.

Often I read on the forums that checks are carried out and block accounts, even for players who have played for many years and confirmed their account with documents.

Once, my pokerstars account has also been blocked. But after I provided the documents confirming my identity, my account has been unlocked. Try sending them your identity documents, passport or driver's license.

you will most likely rule narusheli pokerstars. Perhaps trying to refill the account, another card is not in your area and or was enabled vpn and you went in with a different IP address. The reasons can be many need to understand what it is.

I hate when someone does this register at the forum and then bash a Poker Room with their one and only post on the forum. Not to mention their story is shady and missing information. They then disappear.

They call the Poker room fraudulent when in fact they are the ones most of the time engaged in fraudulent activity.

Pokerstars just like all major Poker Rooms and casinos have a blacklist of players and ip addresses that are deemed high risk for reasons like multi accounts, credit card fraud, cheating that kind of stuff.

Man...I did nothing like that, I am posting here because I know I did nothing wrong. I registered with them, sent them my ID, played some freerools for 3 weeks then my account was frozen..I send them emails and after 3 weeks they reply with: In line with our internal security processes, we carry out periodic business risk assessments on randomly selected accounts. We regret to inform you that your Stars Account has not passed this recent screening process, which has resulted in its permanent closure.

I have never used a VPN..don`t even have one on my computer....I can only suspect that maybe there is something with my name...maybe someone with a similar name did something bad..I don`t know...can`t think of anything else
There were no money in my account, was a 3 weeks old account, played only some freerolls, when I decided to deposit my account was already frozen

Pokerstars is the best Poker Room on the market. Their security and customer service are second to none. I have played there for over 10 years. They are no scam.

Maybe it is mistaken identity you should could them again and explain the situation and see what they say.

https://www.pokerstars.com/help/articles/la-chat-instructions/138601/

The link above will land you on the Pokerstars website help section on the right hand side is "contact us".

No one here on the forum will be able to assist you in getting back account only someone from Pokerstars.

There are other Poker rooms out there which are pretty good and reputable that you can register an account on and play.

Here is a link with a list of them with reviews of them:

Best of luck

After they froze my account I registered with 888, deposited and doing OK but now I am worried that 888 might do the same thing and this time I have almost 300$(and growing) in the account...I just lost all faith in online poker, I am new to online poker and never expected this to happen.
