I would not deposit on Pitbull if my life depended on it. Seems like a big risk for only 2 days of playing.

this is standard operating procedure for most online poker sites, ur obviously new to the game, this is how it goes...

just think of it as the cost of doing business

hell I've been ripped off WAY worse than you in the past, it can get MUCH worse than this lil thing, welcome to the world of online gambling!:(

the poker sites want your $$...period, if ur lucky enough to win other peoples $$..grats!, but it's still sitting on their site, and last time I checked, it's pretty hard to get somethin for nuthin in this world...

the hoops that we have to jump thru to get paid is the unavoidable downside of this game....patience and perseverance is needed not only to win other peoples $$, but then extract that $$ from the money hungry grubbers that operate these sites!

Not many sites pay out freeroll winnings.
The last one I can think of, was called BetRoyalPoker.
I cashed out $490 from them.
They went bust.:D

hey max. I initially made an account at pitbull poker because they were offering an instant ten dollars. Well, I got the ten dollars within an hour after a phone call (simple)

I built it up a few hundred and emailed them. they were courteous, but I had hoped to speak directly to the blonde in the live chat pic........

oh yeah the post...

they said deposit $25 i did, and they sent a check no problem.
Any poker site I've ever played on required a deposit pre-withdrawal...It's a business and they want to keep you playing.
Who knows if when you make your final withdrawal you'll not end up leaving them with $25 or whatever any site's min. deposit is, but they're almost all the same and it should be expected.
Good luck, with both withdrawing and playing

dont deposit by credit card unless you want to send them a photocopy of your drivers license and a front/back copy of whatever card you use. this is pretty standard too.

I don't think this requires too much. Poker sites are there for real money players they make money from pot rake and entry fees. They give some back in the form of "freerolls" they are free. The site is not there to take your time and not pay you. They want to convert free rollers into paying customers. Its called business and they are looking to make money( shame on them ) Simple, acceptable practices would include safeguards to protect against any freeloader/ free roller from cashing without depositing. Is there a site that one could cash without depositing? Thais standard operating procedure. If you are feeling so flamed just deposit and then withdraw.
you are correct about 1 thing though...PitBull Poker is crapy alternative to sites lik Stars and Tilt

nice topic.. i think its unanimous though lol that its not a scam, but just normal policy for most poker sites.. and something else ive seen is that the customer service from most poker sites is pretty crappy too.... i had a GREAT customer service encounter with bodog by the way..

Pitbull Poker Ripoff specialists

Yeah, it's not rocket science, but their typical bait and switch routine is about as scammy a ripoff as you can find in online poker. Pitbull Poker ripoff happens, when they require you to get 200 comp points which takes forever due to minimal traffic and wild "go broke" players that will bust you every time with junk, but the worst is, even if you DO deposit your own money, regardless you will NOT be allowed to withdraw, until you get 200 comp points.

I told their crap CS to take the 10 bucks off they gave me and give me my deposit back. Nope, can't do it.

Getting money off this site, which is run by ex-porn producers, is like pulling eye teeth.

So that ismy opinion of the pitbull poker ripoff.

Also, to add, I've played every site there is, and nowhere do they say, that if they give you free cash you can't withdraw, EVEN AFTER DEPOSITING. That's crap.

What you people are talking about, is rake back bonus stuff. Understandable. But this is different, and it is a typical pitbull poker ripoff.

Why do you think their traffic hasn't improved one little bit in 3 years? lol. They give away ten bucks like candy, yet the site is still like a startup newbie.

Plus the flash system is just a bit too predictable in outcome. I hope someone writes a program to figure it out, it's based on time factors. Not even close to random so should be easy to crack. Then what will they do.

Not that I care, since there's much easier ways to make money like working a job and not being an online poker loser with a warm mouse and no life.

Once again, the point is, "surprise", YOU CANT DEPOSIT JUST TO CASH OUT.

That's not pigheaded, it's WHAT THEY DO. And yes, by definition, it's a ripoff.

I know, I tried. I ran my free 10 up to 100 or so.
I know the drill, so I deposit, win some more at the regular stt's or whatever. Sit on it a week. Play some more. THEN try to cash out.

Lol. NNoooooooooo way. Can't get your money.

Pitbull Poker is a ripoff, plain and simple. Why anyone would want to play on that slow ass flash site against all in donks is beyond me. They cant even get minimum people into 1 dollar tourney.

Very unhappy with pitbull poker

After turning 10 free dollars into over 700 dollars.I needed 67 more comp points in order to cash out.Having already earnI made the required 25 deposit. The agent on the phone told me to add a bonus code for a little extra bonus money he said.He told me it wouldnt effect my cashout as long as I got to 200 comp points.I deposit the minimum 25 dollars making my account 748.I reach my 200 comp points and try to cash out. Then look what happens

Caesar .: Hello, Justin! Welcome to Live Customer Support! How may I be of your assistance?
Justin lanham: i just made a payment request of $300. But it says I still have 596.89 left not $296.89. Why is that?
I just want to make sure everything is ok.
Caesar .: the cashout is deducted from your balance when it is sent to you after 48 hours.... but I have just
checked your account and I see that your request will be rejected because you still have to comply with some
requirement
Caesar.: you need to verify your credit card deposit by sending us paperwork for the card you used
Caesar.: and you also need to reach 303 comp points, because the last bonus you took was at 103 points
Caesar.: I'm sorry, that's 333, the bonus was taken at 133 comp points
Justin lanham: What kind of credit card paperwork?
Caesar.: a form called the Credit Card Authorization Form that I can send to your email right now.... that will be
along with a copy of your picture ID and the front and back of the card you used
Justin lanham: Ok go ahead and send that paperwork to my e-mail
Caesar.: ok, just sent it
Caesar .: any questions so far sir?
Justin lanham: yes I talked to customer service on the phone about 2 days ago right before I made a deposit
Justin lanham: When i had 133 comp points
Justin lanham: He told me I only needed 67 more to cash out
Justin lanham: why are u telling me different
Caesar .: yes sir, but at that moment you took the bonus 200r, which has 200 comp points cashout requirement
Justin lanham: but i already had over 700 in my account before I took that bonus 723 to be exact
Caesar .: unfortunately when you have a comp point requirement to fulfill you cannot make any type of cashout,
even with money that you had previously
Justin lanham: What???
Caesar .: that is our policy sir
Justin lanham: I dont think that is to fair
Justin lanham: for the money i had in there before i deposited to be held hostage
Caesar .: well sir, when you signed up and deposited you agreed to our terms
Justin lanham: I have never known a online casino to do this before
Caesar .: that's why they call it house policy sir, it's our policy
Justin lanham: so i have to meet 333 comp points and turn in my credit card paperwork
Caesar .: yes, that is correct... once you do that you will be able to cashout any amount you want
Justin lanham: just 132 more to go that wont be a problem playing the cash games. But the reviews I place online
about casinos will serve a negative rating for this very policy
Caesar .: I'm sorry to hear that sir... you can also write to our manager to management@pitbullpoker.com
expressing your disatisfaction with the policy set up by them
Justin lanham: thanks alot I defmetely will.Ceasar thank you for your help.
Caesar .: you're very welcome Caesar.: have fun sir! Caesar.: bye

I will not let them win i will earn the the comps they tell me I now have to meet cash out and tell them to kiss my ass

I also got $10 free at pitbull poker. I lost it all and now don't play there, but in the phone call they required to get the free $10 I asked if I turned the $10 into $1000, what did I have to do to cash it out. After cutting through the heavy accent, I got that if I wanted to withdraw, I would have to deposit $25 and earn 200 comp points, but that those comp points could be earned before the deposit. The rep I spoke to was even kind enough to warn me that I could not take any deposit bonuses on the deposit, or I would have to earn another 200 comp points. So, other than the accent, I thought their support was very good (to me).

I guess I'm the only one that can't resist losing all my money playing blackjack whenever I win a PitBull Poker freeroll :) Guess I don't need to feel so bad about that now.
