Partypoker pausing river for several seconds

Has anyone noticed that at PP when there is a lot of action in a play, like three players involved in a pot it will pause for like several seconds than give the underdog the nuts or the best hand? this is freaking me out. I mean why does it happen?

Funny you should mention that, I've previously stated on numerous occasions witnessing lag spikes before a miracle river hits on Stars... :flute:

did not pay attention. but on PP I noticed that some players are fantastic luck.

It’s those darned Dominion Voting Machines, I told them they couldn’t be trusted to count election ballets let alone deal an honest game of cards.
Seriously though have seen that lag on other sites as well but pretty sure it works both ways, we tend to forget about the times we were the players behind and got a big suck out on the river.

Exact same thing happens to me on a Party skin. Comfortably winning up to the river. Long pause, then opponent gets the magic 2 outer.

Other common things I noticed. Play super tight on a table full of loose aggressive players. Get dealt AA in the big blind, then watch the whole table fold round to you. Regular occurrence.
