PartyPoker connected to Pokerstars??

Hello All,

Just wondering if you guys can confirm that partypoker is connected to pokerstars in any way. I have been told that PP is under GVC holding but can't seem to find GVC being connected to PokerStars.
I'm trying to open an account with PP but I'm not able to do so as I closed my PokerStars account. Any ideas?

Do you delete your account or ask to withdraw from the game?
Have you already contacted the support of the rooms?
I don't know if the rooms have any partnerships, in fact I never even heard anything about it.
