Hey I'm curious as to how others find partypoker as a cardroom. I've been playing on it since the revamp and although I'm mildly profitable on it to me it just doesn't feel right.

There are just so many weird plays from players who appear to be profitable but shouldn't be. I've lost count the number of times I've seen people double floating with no pair, no draw, no backdoors only to hit there one over on the river. Or donk shoving 60bb+ into 5bb pots with no pair, no draw only to hit trips or a backdoor gutshot by the river. Or folding every hand then losing there minds and shoving 90bb with 84o and catching what they need. Yet the same players will pot control the second nut straight when they are beat.

I know this happens on other sites, I've been playing online since long before black Friday, but I have never seen it at the consistency I do on Party. The site should be a goldmine but its not.

Also I was looking at a player who made some crazy plays this morning. No tournament wins, no significant final tables for the first 1000 or so either. But they still managed to pull in thousands of dollars in profit on what I assume were just bounties collected. Which is extremely difficult thing to do grinding on $5 - $10 tournaments.

Anyways I just thought I'd ask what other people thought of Party its possible that I'm just going through a spell of seeing weird stuff.

Ok 2 prime examples just happened to me in a FF session.

I raise UTG with JJ, UTG +1 3bets, button calls I call.

Flop AK3, UTG +1 shoves 114bb, button calls, I fold. UTG +1 shows 53s, Button AK. Turn 10 river 3.

Next

UTG raises, button jams for 204bb, I call UTG calls. I have AA, UTG has KK, button has J4o. Flop 789 all hearts, turn 6c river Tc.

And these players had been folding other hands previous, no crazy business. But for whatever reason they pick that time and those cards to lose there minds. And it might only be 2 hands, but I only one tabled for 10 minutes, its constant.

I play for a long time and study hands and cards very much. There are such hands in which there are no more explanatory, not logical explanations from the side of the player, it is simply that either a person or a bot goes to the stake with some 9-2 and wins in an incomprehensible way, and after that I think, I play poker really?

Gosh! I think you're on to something! Can you give us some more examples?
