I am aware that it is typical to skim when providing currency exchange, but 20%!?!
As a Canadian, PP charged today, $1.46cad/ $1us on a deposit, while paying $1.215cad/$1us on Withdrawals.
So are they skimming 22% on my withdrawal, or 11% each way!?
22% added to the rake!!
On top of changing names (causing the loss of all notes, helping only cheats/(PP bots?)), and the new minimized software!
 Can someone please recommend a better site? (not PS,ty)

Wow, this is news to me. The one and only time I withdrew from PP (four or so years ago), I got a better exchange for my CAD from Party than I could have gotten from any exchange place in Montreal (forget about banks). Banks tend to skim about 3.5% in each direction, while exchange places tend to take about 4% total in BOTH directions, with a little hedge towards one side or the other (so about 2.5%/1.5%). The above example of 24.5% in both directions is simply robbery.

I'd like to see screenshot evidence since this is so outrageous. But we have a partypoker rep on CardsChat that you can ask about it:

There are not that many sites to choose from, and no site is perfect. For me PS is still the one with least drawbacks, so even if you said "not PT, ty", this is still the one, I will recommend you. Ot you can try 888 Poker, if you can live with much lower volume.

Correction:)
My mistake! the 1.46 was actually per 1.1 deposit !
So 1.215 out vs 1,35 in. so still a double grab, but not as unreasonable as I thought:eek:

I recommend to you the use of an ewallet to deposit and withdraw from poker sites. Like this you not pay exchange fees everytime and also you can send your dollars from pokersite to pokersite in minutes.

There is skrill, neteller, ecopayz and muchbetter as options. Im not sure if they all work on party though.

Hope that helps.
