Ontario Only Pokerstars coming soon

I'm reading on Pokerfuse news, that pokerstars is negotiating with the Ontario Government to offer regulated online gambling to Ontario, canada. The experience will be a significant change from the current offering, as we will only be able to play with Ontario residents only, instead of most of the world. It's expected to start transitioning on April 4th this year.

Has anyone made any changes to prepare for this? I don't think online poker will ever be the same in this province. Personally, I just made a large withdrawal as I will be looking at my options next week.

Sure hope this nonsense stays in Ontario and doesn’t start leaking towards the west. I don’t see how this a good thing for anybody….

April 4th has arrived and I'm still able to play globally on Pokerstars. There has been no announcement from Pokerstars regarding their plans. I'm assuming a deal still has not been struck with the regulators. I wonder if Pokerstars plans on telling it's Ontario players ahead of time or are we going to log-in and find all our usual games gone because of a lack of players. I'll miss my 11:12 PM five-card draw game the most.
