Friends who think about the new pokerstars software for mobile devices? Personally, I think they went from having the best to the worst. Is it possible to go back to the previous software?

I don't like the upgrades either. My biggest criticism is that when you review the hand history if you won the hand at showdown, you don't see what your opponent had. The navigating through the software is an easy one to be critical of, but that's something that you'd just have to get used to.

I prefer the old software, and also, I'm not a fan of the throwables - just a waste of time for me. I don't use them nor do I pay any attention to it.

The new update is lighter, but you can't see the opponent's cards, and I think it was a mistake to remove it.:mad:

Thanks for the heads-up. I didn't know there was a new version of the app. I downloaded & played a Sit & Go. Everything was smooth. The Lobby seems to be the only thing that's really changed, which I do like. The Table view looks the same - didn't really like it before and don't really like it now, but it didn't crash so all is good.

With this new lobby it is very difficult for me to search for tournaments, especially freerolls

I actually wish you can go back to the previous app on mobile. I'm finding this new version difficult to get used to navigating the various games. I think to make everyone happy as to have both choices stick to previous app or stick to new app.

One thing that bothered me about this new application is that I can't see my position in tournaments, in the other one it was easier to find information.

Yes, I found that to be annoying as well, I totally agree.

YES!!! At the time I posted my feedback originally, I didn't think to mention that, or else I hadn't played a tournament as of yet. But I hate not knowing my position either, ESPECIALLY if I was playing a satellite, I would want to know where I stood if I was on the bubble. But not knowing, it's just poor in my opinion.

Two other things I am critical of:

1. Not being able to fold and see the action behind you to see how a hand was played, to see if you can pick up on something. On my PC, I can do that if I wanted to stay behind to watch the hand.
2. Playing in a tournament, I'd rather see my stack in Big Blinds (for the most part) - I didn't see where I could adjust that in the settings.

Overall, I'm giving the new software a 4/10. The navigation is, I find, clunky, and there's just too much "frills" going on. I'm more of a minimalist for what I want to see in a software package. The previous version was great, it had everything I wanted.

I'm STILL NOT a fan of the throwables - to me, an absolute waste of time. I mean, if someone uses it on me, I honestly don't care, it doesn't impact anything for me, poker wise, it's just something that is simply not necessary.

I don't like it, I don't understand why change something that works perfectly for this.

Totally this!
I don t get it. I don t know about the mobile app 8 years ago, but still remember the old pc versions. It looks like every updated they get worse. The old client with that Supernova system at all was seriously perfect. Pokerstars keeps fixing what isn t broken. They crave to update their client to look it modern while no one ever asked for it.

And have you tried to search a freeroll? They don t even have names on the front page...

I read here the cardschat freeroll is not available to register for on the app. You have to register on the pc. Playing the freeroll on the app is possible. They keep updatimg and updating but simple things like that seem to be a big problem to programm for them. Facepalm.

Not so - I just registered for today's Cardschat freeroll PLUS I was able to register for a Cardschat League game in the Home Games Club, something I could not do in the older version of the app.

I should add that I'm using the real money (.com) version of the app on my Android phone, not the Play Money (.net) version.

I played for 2 years from a tablet and all updates were almost the same. The speed of the game was the highest among all poker rooms. And now all other poker rooms work at my tablet, but the world's best poker room with the best and fastest software does not work )))
The last update is just tin :D

I wonder what are the current system requirements for the RAM of the tablet for a normal game?

Hi all!

I manage with the desktop PC that has windows, much more comfortable. Only once did I try to play with the cell phone and it seemed to me the menu is completely different and I couldn't even find the game I was looking for, I went out and uninstalled the application.

Greetings

Aurora Graphics forced always on

The desktop software has also changed forcing the Aurora Graphics option as always on. You cannot disable it but only put it on a low setting. This makes it so I cannot play multiple tables on PokerStars at the same time as my computer GPU is 10 years old and I am running Windows 7.

The truth is that what bothers me about the pokerstar mobile application is that it is always updated and in each important game that I want to enter it takes time to do so and causes me to lose the registration for that reason I prefer another room on mobile

Unfortunately going back to old software is never the solution even if it's possible. You only delay the inevitable, and eventually the old versions stop working completely. I would say you could send feedback, but in my experience lately they will just ignore it or blame your hardware.

Agreed. BUT send them an email ANYWAYS! It only takes a minute!

I also liked the old version better. And here the point is not that it takes time to get used to the new, just remove useful functions in the updated version.

I am using mobile software not so often but I think the old version was better and easy for use than a new one.But there is nothing we can do about. So we have to try to use to.

Unfortunately, they were very much in the process of updating the software. They tried to create a nice and spectacular update but in turn disappeared a lot of things, for example: player search, star code, watching tables and much more. I think the previous version was much better and more transparent.
