Hi guys. Can't figure out if pokerstars high buy-in mt SNGs fill up? I look at different times. No full tables $100+ 180 players?
I think, they have not run for years, and I dont understand, why PokerStars still keep them in the lobby. They seem to mostly be used by greek players, who want to hide their poker money from the tax man. Its something about them being taxed on the balance in their poker account, and if they preregistered to tournaments, they will never play, then the balance drop, and the tax become less

Indeed , so there is a usage for them at the moment . Just jumped in to clarify that whenever you have a 100 € score in PS , PS itself pops up a message box in order to remind you that if you plan to play a big tournament you can pre-register to it, so.... everything's fine.
I mean some years ago it was a secret tactic among Greeks but after a while PS propose it itself.
They have just redone their entire MTT SnG offerings in order to reduce waiting times, and all games with more than 18 players are now of the "on demand" type. Except those $109+ 180-mans, that have not run for years. These have been kept, and the only reasonable explanation for that is, that PokerStars actually want to give players a place to "hide" their money. So this is probably now as official, as it will ever get
Haha yeap , I saw yesterday those changes! I like them to be honest..
