Always a good idea not to keep too much of your bankroll on the poker sites as you never know what might happen, especially on less reputable sites.
1 or 2 hands of 1c/2c will take care of the situation (or whatever their lowest limit is.... ie. I think at SB 10nl is the smallest )Regardless what we think of this, its pretty easy to avoid the situation. If we dont intend to play on a site for the foreseable future, there is no point in having funds sitting there. So just withdraw them. If we decide to play again, its usually very easy to make a new deposit. And if the amount is to small to withdraw, like 7$ or whatever, then just kiss it goodbuy. Or spend it on something before leaving the site. A sportsbet, the casino or some final tournaments. Anything.
Companies put BS in their ToS all the time which turns out to be illegal under scrutiny and therefor invalid. When you register to any platform you always must agree to terms and conditions. Everybody agrees to them, but nobody bothers to reed them tho....
It was on PokerStar, I stayed almost 1 year without entering, I researched and really found that condition in the terms so there is no way to appeal, the amount was low even so I expected that when I entered it would be there, but as it is in the terms there is no way to complain .I entered after a while on a platform that had money and found that due to inactivity the money was confiscated, what do you think about this?
Disgusting behaviour from pokerstars, if I were you I would still contact the regulator and at least attempt to hold them accountable for their blatant theft. It was on PokerStar, I stayed almost 1 year without entering, I researched and really found that condition in the terms so there is no way to appeal, the amount was low even so I expected that when I entered it would be there, but as it is in the terms there is no way to complain .

You would be surprised to know that almost all the sites do this after some long inactivity. Also ewallets do this too.Disgusting behaviour from PokerStars, if I were you I would still contact the regulator and at least attempt to hold them accountable for their blatant theft.
Yes there is a way.. it's also in T&C that it's your responsibilty for losing on gambling and yet Pokerstars was ordered by our highest court to pay back over 1,2 million€ in gambling losses. It was on PokerStar, I stayed almost 1 year without entering, I researched and really found that condition in the terms so there is no way to appeal, the amount was low even so I expected that when I entered it would be there, but as it is in the terms there is no way to complain .
Did u contact support? Im pretty sure i read somewhere that they will put back the money if they took it for inactivity.Around three years back, my anti-virus started blocking 888 Poker, so I gave up tying to play there. My bank balance was around $30.
About a year ago, I decided to try and log into 888 Poker again and low and behold, whatever was causing the anti-virus to reject 888 Poker was sorted.
Good I thought, I'll start playing there again. This was until I saw my bank balance had been reduced to a few cents.
I thought it must have been because of inactivity, but they did not notify me, so it's now a permanent goodbye from me.
Now that I think about it I had an account deactivated on ignition and I have no idea if I had money on the account. They told me to make another account, I thought it was weird and I don't remember what I did.I had about $50 on Bodog and after not playing for a while went back to use it and my account had been deactivated. The interesting part of this is when I had a zero balance for many years and never visited the site my account was left intact.
what law is that breaking? Is it an International law?Doesnt matter if it's common or not still illegal

A court could force Pokerstars to remove that rule . The EU only has to threaten with removing their EU license . If that was to happen PS would be nearly broke lol .
But I'm afraid that would need a lot of people on board..

As far as I know, 888 Poker still has this policy. So as I said already, just withdraw your funds, if you dont intent to play. Or log in once in a while, and perhaps even play a few SnGs or a few orbits on some cash tables. Its not like, its that complicated or time consumingIt happened to me years ago, when I stopped playing. Lost like $180 total between 888 and Full Tilt.
I think that the limit time was a year without logging in.
