laugh-out-loud. this was all i had to read. hypocritical much? this is a public forum, not your house. nobody even tried to "curb your freedom of speech". some people have expressed opinions that you find undesirable, so you're throwing a fit as if they can't. not only tilty but stupid too. you're destined for poker greatness

^ this + you said you don't want people to "clog up" your "blog" with negativity.
Newflash: this is not your blog.

If you don't want people replying to your post, start a blog on a site and tell your friends about it, if you don't want to be criticized.

Last time I checked, it was difficult to make a comfortable living playing 1/2. I'm sorry but I don't see any way your a professional poker player, unless its self professed.

How can somebody be in a tournament, fold before the flop, and have this result? I didn't even get a chance to say I was there.
Player IFLOPDDANUTZ has finished the tournament in # 3071 place.

Set realistic goals. That's all we're saying. I posted links to an article series that I believe may help you accomplish that, and I asked specifically if you had considered how exactly you were going to pull off this amount of profit that you seem to have decided on randomly.

But then you post this:

TO those of you who think Moderators are untouchable etc. my feelings are this...if one of them is out of line then I will tell them they are out of line. I fought for this country for 17 years, I went to IRAQ 4 times and I'll be DAMN*D if someone is going to curb my freedom of speech.
And, honestly, it pisses me off. It's wrong. It's arrogant. And it pisses on all the people in the world who aren't protected by the actual freedom of speech, as opposed to whatever made-up version you believe you're protected by. You're a whiny ***** and you should be ashamed for not understanding the first amendment. Having said that:

This site is not American. Whatever country you went to war with or for has very little to do with how you're allowed to behave here.

The one out of line, Kaedyn2007, is you.

When FP, whom I would like to add is always a consummate gentleman, goes off on you, chances are you've crossed the line somewhere. It would be well advised for you to take heed of what he says.

Lol lets just lock this one up guys or something, its getting ridiculous. No one can make 300$ a day playing 1/2 online everysingle day. There would be no variance, you couldn't even do that live. the only way you could have some sort of chance would be live, but you don't play live. If you ever grind that bankroll up a couple dollars, find me at somedude1311. I would be happy to play you at any stakes, whatever you name and any game.

hey, if he 4-tabled 1/2 NL with an incredibly good winrate of 8 ptBBs/hour across all tables, he could maintain this rate playing over 30 hours a week

lol

Ok my last post

OK this will be my last post
first of all I HAVE made 300 a day playing poker
1/2 it is extremely easy to do it
maybe u r just not consistant enough in your own
play i dont know what i do know is i did it for
10 days straight and that was making about 300 to 500
a day because i SAVED 300 of it a day and i had to
have living money
I know what I can do and if u dont believe me thats your
choice, I am sorry that all of you doubters out there have nothing better to do than post negativity but the point is
I KNOW WHAT I CAN DO and if i said i could make 100k in one week then those who know me would just start making plans for that weekend. When i DO complete it
i will post it on here until then i am sorry for the contention i am sick of hearing the doubting and quite honestly if there was a way i could get the messages to stop coming to my inbox i would love it because personally i cant live my life thinking negative just because someone sets a goal i dont think i can do for myself. I am pretty sure BIll Gates or Michael Dell didnt say to themselves it is impossible to be successful at this
so I am gonna quit. And the difference between them and myself is that I have done it before so I KNOW i can do it.
Have a great nite and hopefully this ends it..

BY the way Jamile thankyou for your words of encouragement, you, lily and theblondish have helped me alot more than you know and i value you guys as friends..

Kaedyn, I will say I admire your resolve. And I do wish you the best of luck in your reaching your goal. There may have been some negative comments made, but you can't expect to post on a worldwide community, and not expect at least a little criticism. Some of it may have been on the rude side, sure. But some posters (like FP) were genuinely trying to help you and inquire about the specifics on how you plan to make your goal.

Even you must realize that your goal is a lofty one, and one that most people probably could not hope to acheive. So surely you must understand some people will be doubtful that it can be done. I don't think they're trying to bring you down necessarily, just trying to be realistic.

I wonder how you go through life if you are so defensive against the smallest bit of criticism? Just as you are steadfast in your goals (which is great), you need to be able to take the good with the bad as well, and maybe, just maybe, you might learn something even from the negative side of the coin to help you along the way to your goals/dreams.

But anyway, best of luck to you, and I hope to see in six months that you have reached your goal.

wow, 10 whole days! do you even know the meaning of the terms "variance" and "sample size" you dolt?

I know what I can do and if u dont believe me thats your
choice, I am sorry that all of you doubters out there have nothing better to do than post negativity but the point is

i know what you can do, too, courtesy of sharkscope.

Kaedyn2007 125 -$2 $4 -50% -$192 Tilt PokerStars

Kaedyn2007 48 -$2 $5 -46% -$96 Tilt FullTilt

the numbers on the far right are your total profits in sit 'n gos. and a negative 50% return on investment. impressive! all you have to do is run wildly above the expectation granted by your playing ability for 6 months straight and you've got a shot

Fact is I really don't care whether you reach your goal or not. Anyone that takes poker semi-serious definitely doesn't take you serious. Your a pro because you grinded out a 300$ a day profit for 10 days?? I don't even believe that. Bill Gates and Michael Dell didn't have that success fall into their lap, they worked for their success over many years, it wasn't instant. And for you to come on a public forum and get pissed when people tell you that your outlandish goal is impossible, and then you cite examples of people that really did work hard and were really good at what they did, makes me laugh. Like I said I invite you to sit at my tables anytime, you are a fool and would be better off listening to people with much more experience than you.

Well said JQ:) ^^^^^^

Kaed I am one of those that never doubt anyone as I have in the past and ate my words, but I did say this is a daunting task and I wish you the best of luck trying to achieve this goal, I also must point out that some of the advice you were given in this thread is some solid advice, so you take what is good and run with it and the rest you just overlook it and move on.

good luck again and just stay cool

Jamile

I have made a personal goal of taking $1.0 to 100k in 6 months.

I like the idea, good luck Kaedyn! Ordinary people doing extra-ordinary things, it's what makes the world go round.

Let us know what happens...

Hey Kaedyn,

Try Blogspot.com. I have a blog there and it's great. You can post anything you want for anyone to see and you can lock or delete any comments readers make.

Unfortunately, you have posted these current thoughts in a public forum where anyone can post anything within the rules of the forum. Since this forum is also privately owned, "freedom of speech" actually does not apply.

That's why your own personal blog might be the answer for you. Feel free to check mine out (link at bottom of my post). They are really easy to create and you can update it with your bankroll progress without any "negativity". Good luck.

Well said JQ:) ^^^^^^

Yes - it was very well said, but words wasted on someone who refuses to listen to anyone.

I said almost the same thing privately in a pm and got blasted rudely because I didn't 100% support and believe in his goal and tried to make him realize that some of the people were genuinely trying to help him.

He claims to be 35 but the tone of his pm's and posts are that of a 13 year old.

He does not have the kind of money he is talking about having won recently - he had to make a very small deposit so he could transfer $10 to me which I transferred to another site for him. He was so excited when he won $2 in a freeroll that it was amusing. I am not making fun of that - just saying someone with less than $10 on a site who gets off on winning $2 has not won what he says he has won recently. (and he had $10 or less at all 3 sites he mentioned playing at)

I have avoided this thread - but don't want to see anyone buying into any part of his stories that he dreams up. But since he claims to have left and will never post again.....should be safe to speak the truth now without getting blasted for it.

He is registered in three $0.10 tournaments on full tilt poker. Not the kind of thing a reasonable BR would do, but if he has limited himself to $10 (posted in his profile, not the original post), perhaps so. His avatar on Absolute, if it is him holding a child, shows him to be about 35.

I still want to know how somebody can leave a tournament without ever even posting a blind. Does Absolute take no-shows out? It was a freeroll.

I was referring to these statements:

and for your info i am up to 250 right now
so get off my back

Not true, quoting from his own profile: "Grand total as of 8:56 PM Tuesday Oct 9th ...... $12.37"

Nope I wont deposit anything else

Had just deposited 2 days earlier..

and as for the 1k that i made
I still have it, i have split it among other account

Then why did he have to make a tiny deposit at stars to send me $10 to have $10 transferred to Absolute?? (didn't have enough at Fulltilt to do it either)

His avatar on Absolute, if it is him holding a child, shows him to be about 35.

I never said he wasn't 35 - I implied he acts about 13.

There is nothing that excuses his behavior.

Just for your information
my last business that I had, I made 14k the first week
and EVERYTHING was legit and verified so don't presume
to tell me what I can or can not do.

Kaedyn

It wasn't an AMWAY business was it???

Just asking cause all this talk of people attacking your dreams and being negative, and comparing your plans to Bill Gates and the like, you sound awfully like someone I know who was trying to get me and my wife to build an Amway business with them.
