Increased points requirements at pokerstars?

Hi . A few days ago I noticed a change to pokerstars. I have increased my point requirements for getting a silver box. Earlier it was 2750 and now it is 14750 :-( for the same chest. Did you also notice something like that on your accounts?

Happened to me as well. I think, it might be a punishment for playing to much, since I picked up my level of activity on Stars quite a bit recently. Or maybe its a punishment for winning to much, since my winrate has also been high during COVID-19. Its essentially a reverse loyalty program, since they want to focus on recreational players rather than winning regulars.

Its not great obviously, but currently the full ring cash games on Stars are to good for me to really worry about reward programs or lack thereof. So I just accept, that I win money from the fish, and that Stars keep 99% of the rake, I pay to them. And I am not completely livid about this policy. If more generous rewards make the fish redeposit, when they are broke, that also benefit me in the long run.

And who really needs those chests anyway? My last one contained 40 star coins, which is 0,4$ and then a 1,1$ tournament ticket, which I can only use for the MicroMillions event. And since I currently play 25NL cash, its almost not even worth my time to use that ticket.

Yes gold one is now 13,000 did it used to be 11,000 or 13,000 getting late am tired and unsure?
5k freeroll ticket and 600 star coin not that great for opening last gold chest but every little helps.
They reduced my rakeback deal from $800 if pay $2000 rake to $400 if pay $1000 rake due to less playing as on other sites a lot lately think will try get that instead as a reasonable reward, chests not that much.

Indeed, in recent days I have played more often to get the challenge of 1000 points redemption (5 points redemption for $ 1 rake) for $ 80 cash reward. So I paid $ 200 rake and got back $ 80, which means a 40% rake refund.

This is a great offer, but it is not available in all markets or to all players. I have for instance not recieved such an offer.

Those chests are indeed pretty useless. I also hate the weekly 5k freerolls on Stars, which have now become a "daily reward freeroll". 15.000 people competing to knock each other out, and the size of the bounty is not even shown. Often its 13c or something. For me this is a waste of time, and I have let many tickets expire unused.
